Without prejudice. My experience is a definite 0/10. We paid R30k to onboard our daughter. Textbooks are super expensive, school uniforms, plus, plus, plus. We wanted a Cambridge education for our daughter but instead found pettiness, incompetence, and apathy. Term 2 she joined, there were serious issues, the teacher involved apologized but the principal, who also owns the school, was very offended and took our speaking up personally. My inbox is full of threatening emails trying to bully me. After spending a fortune procuring textbooks, we find in term 3 that they're using outdated textbooks that are no longer in print! How do you write an exam with no textbook? Three days into term 4 and we're still waiting for terms planners! Her first term was so bad that we gave notice and immediately moved her to distance learning. One term to go then we are out of the contract! Counting the days. We will still continue with the Cambridge route, but next time we will look for a school that's not owned by the principal.

Paid for an annual subscription with my credit card - first attempt I received an 'unsuccessful' notification, which was odd. I checked the data I entered and found that everything was in order, 2nd attempt the transaction was 'successful'. After checking my data on TransUnion, I checked my emails and found TWO payment confirmation notification... I checked my credit card statement online and found that indeed, two amounts had been deducted. I reported it to TransUnion who accepted no responsibility, apparently they have nothing to do with the merchant. I then contacted my trusted ABSA bank - they checked, confirmed and gave me the email address to dispute the transaction and reverse the 2nd transaction.
Excellent service, from the time I phoned them to ask for roadside assistance, to the follow ups, and final call... absolutely phenomenal!! I spoke to OT Ref 16636 late yesterday afternoon, he immediately dispatched CJ towing, and within minutes the flatbed tow truck was there to tow my car. OT followed up, and was professional, understanding, and really a pleasure to speak to. Abel Mabena from CJ towing was a breath of fresh air. Professional, helpful, and after we towed my car to my house, he dropped me off at a friend's house where my kids were waiting for me. Now that's going the extra mile, with a smile. With Discovery Insure and CJ towing, I have complete peace of mind, anytime... anywhere... whatever happens to my car, I know that I'm in good hands. Thank you. God speed.
