Eskort have a shop near Cornubia in Mt Edgecombe. They sell a rib burger from a small takeaway portion of the shop. This burger costs R35! (Thirty Five Rands!) It's a medium-sized burger that is very tasty. It's just the right size. I highly recommend this burger to everyone.
I only used VW Umhlanga to service my VW cars for over 10 years. Every time I had a problem they would replace parts that often did not fix the problem. But they would insist that the part they changed was faulty! After my last major service (cam belt and brakes) @ R24k, my caddy developed many faults. They started replacing parts that did not fix the problem. (And charged me for these parts) I eventually went to Alpine Pinetown who discovered a vital part was missing from my car. Of course Umhlanga denied removing this trailer control module. (See you in small claims court!) Alpine was extremely helpful. Stay away from VW Umhlanga. TO VW UMHLANGA: TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK YOU DO! If you fix my car and charge me, then it’s your problem if the fault returns. I paid you to fix the fault. If your mechanics don’t know what they are doing then it is your problem. If you break my car you should fix it at your cost. And stop *****ing parts from customer’s vehicles
Sent my 2 yr old snappy chef stove for repair. They charged me R150 to courier it from Durban to Pretoria and back!!! No charge to fix stove. Stove was collected within 2 hours of me contacting them on a Friday, and was delivered back to me on the following Tuesday These guys give the best service i have ever had.
Despite going to my local MTN service adviser at MTN, I am constantly receiving SMS's to say i have signed up for some content service. And they just take money from my account. Denver from MTN Gateway advised me they could not deduct any money from my account, yet this month I have a bill of R532 for content charges. I have never signed up for any content service EVER!. There seems to be no way to block these services and they keep adding you on to them. MTN just give out my money and charge me. I am reversing my payment to MTN this month. I will have to get another contract with another cell. I advise everyone to check your cell bill each month. I never used to. Today i received 9 SMS's to advise me i had signed up for various content services all at a cost per day!
