I enquired about Smartswitch wireless fibre services over a year ago to which they informed me that they couldn't assist me. Now completely out of the blue, they are trying to bill me for a service that I have never received. I have emailed them multiple times to stop billing me for a service I have never had. No response And i keep just getting a monthly bill. I'm happy to amend this review if someone will respond and correct their error. Until then, I'd advise anyone against even ENQUIRING about their services or risk them billing you for a service they never installed.
I'd like to start by saying that PayFast offers an extremely easy and effective service. I really hope this issue can be resolved because you offer something very valuable. Here goes: I built an e-commerce store for a client using PayFast as my payment gateway. My client runs a head shop. For those of you who don't know that means they sell smoking-related products such as vaporisers, rolling paper. This is all completely legal. For example: anything can be rolled using rolling-paper but that doesn't make the paper itself illegal. A couple of days ago my client received an email explaining that PayFast would in only 2-days-time terminate his account. They claimed he was selling Psychoactive drugs -- entirely untrue. They will not respond to our emails when we try to explain that there has been some kind of misunderstanding. As soon as they terminate his account he will lose sales through his site. Who will then be liable for these losses? Even if his account was suspended on just grounds, 2 days is not reasonable notice to re-work payment infrastructure on an e-commerce store and this will cost him serious money on sales. Please can we get some kind of response before his entire business is essentially made useless?
This company has been harassing me at my work number. I have never, nor will I ever have an account with this company, yet they phone me daily looking for PEOPLE I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF. Not only is this unsolicited harassment disruptive to my workflow, it is also personally disrespectful that this company will not do the ethical thing, and take my number off of their system. They clearly have the wrong number but continue to call me daily. This is not how a respectable company should behave; I can only imagine how they treat their customers.
