THIS IS A SCAM. Booked and paid for a vehicle (through booking.com surprisingly). Got to Durban airport and nothing to be found. There is no such rental company at the airport. The number they provided in the confirmation email does not exist. Managed to get hold of someone on a cell number but they have stopped responding and are seemingly not refunding my money.
I have been a Vodacom client for over 20 years, I currently have a contract with vodacom for R299pm. Unbeknown to me they have been charging me more than double for that for 'Content Services' that I NEVER subscribed to. For months I have been charged for a service that I do not use and did not request. Surely this is not legal? I eventually found out it was for a service called gameeasy ... I do NOT even play games. This months bill is R869,69. I went to the Vodastore and they were no help at all saying they could not help and I needed to phone the call centre. Does the Consumer protection act not protect us from this? is there somebody I can call to help me get my money back? I am so frustrated with Vodacom
Countless issues and they refuse to take responsibility for anything. Delays, wrong products, wrong sizes, damaged goods... Continue to refuse to help solve issues and continue to ridiculously try and shift blame to other parties. Recently contacted them to please come and sort out a window with a defective hinge and they refuse to even come and look before I pay R695 plus VAT, again saying it is probably the installers fault and not theirs. Do not ever do any business with this company or any other company associated with their owner Jon Keegan
