<p>COMPLAINT RE POOR INSTALLATION and THE response </p> <p>Jon-Jon Keegan the owner of Windoor SA response </p> <p>"I have moved to the countryside and have no interest in (nor will be) attending to any requests."</p> <p> </p> <p>Well if you want to use him for anything in any industry, expect nothing then you won't be disapointed. Installation complete, now I can't lock the door!
After struggling to get my sunroom right for A WHOLE YEAR and now that it's leak-proof, painted and ready for furniture, I now discover that the sliding door won't lock (which I could previously lock). Windoor isn't calling me back even though I have called and left a message, and emailed them. <br> I'm not a builder, but I think when they removed the glass to check for the leak, they installed the door upside down because the door latch can't fit into the wall cavity anymore and nothing has changed structurally - the wall is still where it was, so it must be the door. <br> All I want from Windoor is to come out and fix the door so that I can furnish the room that I've had to wait for a year to be completed. I am so tired of fighting! They have got their money, so who cares, right?!

NEVER EVER USE WINDOOR!!
Countless issues and they refuse to take responsibility for anything. Delays, wrong products, wrong sizes, damaged goods... Continue to refuse to help solve issues and continue to ridiculously try and shift blame to other parties. Recently contacted them to please come and sort out a window with a defective hinge and they refuse to even come and look before I pay R695 plus VAT, again saying it is probably the installers fault and not theirs. Do not ever do any business with this company or any other company associated with their owner Jon Keegan

Refuse to refund deposit after increase the quote
I requested a quote from Windoor for aluminium windows and doors. Accepted the quote of R162940.80, 18/12/2014 and paid a R90000 deposit. Early 2015 brought it under their attention that the window schedule changed and the builder was behind. Windoor was fully informed & the original quote was no longer applicable. Given the changes, current quote, I made a rough estimation of what the increase should be. Received a revised quote for more than R260000 and didn't except it. 7/5/2015, they sent another quote total R251125.64. Apparently most of the window & doors are customised. I obtain several quotes from other suppliers to establish if the windows& doors are indeed customise and if the quote was market related - IT WAS NOT. I reject the quote and request a refund of my deposit upon which they refuse to and want to deduct all sorts of fees and cost from the deposit, not taking into account that they are earning interest on my money since Dec 2014. By admission of Windoor, they haven't incurred any cost except for the technician's visits (04/ 2015) to the site of which the hours can easily be established. They have the attitude that I can take legal action if I want my money back<br>

Windoors poor service
I used windoor to replace my bathrooms windows. The contractor had to visit 3 times, once to install the window, 2nd time to finish the plaster work (done very poorly) and third to actually complete the work (they didn't). I ended up filling in the gaps they missed. I was also charged for materials that was not used, and refused a refund when I queried about it.<br> <br> They also damaged my bath (on 2 separate occasions), and a large mirror - they have insurance for this but have since refused to compensate me in any way.<br> <br> Be warned, once I settled the account their caring service has disappeared, also the contractor is all about short cuts and smoke breaks. <br> Although Jon-Jon appears to provide good customer service that is a ruse as this disappears as soon as you settle the account. <br> <br> <br>
