First they charge me for roaming bundle data that I never purchased and just because I refuse to buy it, they decided to cancel international roaming so that I can't receive or make any calls. Who gave you that instruction? Honestly they are going from bad to worse. Best to get a new service provider. STAY AWAY from Vodacom, but I must still pay while I am traveling for nothing. Why?
This is now 3 months where Vodacom charge me travel data on my invoice that I never bought, never asked for. Every single time I have to go through this process and empty promises that they will refund the ******* debts from my account, but no refund just more cost. We'll, I am keeping all the evidence. I have an eSim, so no data, no SIM, no voice calls, but they charge me. Can't explain what Voice call I made either.
I am collecting reference number and empty promises that they will refund me in 24 hours. Never happens. They keep on adding travel data and roaming cost to my bill that I did not authorised, did not request and don't use. What they do us ******* and they simply don't care. They can do what ever they want to.
For the second month in a row, Vodacom just add over R1000 of travel data to my bill. I did not buy it, I didn't ask for it, I don't use it, yet they one sided just add it every second week to my account while I am traveling. No matter what I try to do to stop it, they simply refuse. I can call. Submit a request to stop it, but they simply hust keep on increasing the amount. So, when I am back in South Africa I will definitely tell them what they can do with their So called contract.
Vodacom is getting worse by the minute. Trying to talk to a real human while you are traveling abroad, simply forget about it. Their AI so-called help system is so bad that I wonder why they even bother. I only bought travel data twice from them, yet they keep on adding travel data to my account, close to an additional R1000 that I didn't approve, and didn't buy as I got myself a Global eSIM card for only $8, 5G for 30 days. Then they reply to your Hellopeter review via AI AI-generated response. You reply to the email, and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is how they *******ly add items to your account, and they don't care.
I am currently traveling abroad. I bought an international eSim, but Vodacom keeps adding travel data to my account that I did not approve. No human available to talk to. This is *******. How can they add something to your account that you didn't purchase?
It is almost a year that I am struggling to get any answers out of them.They are definitely getting paid by Discovery Insurance not to assist. Claudia Kampmann just copy and past the same email over and over to me. I have given them so much proof that the Swimming pool service provider from Discovery caused nearly R65000 damage to my pool, yet she refuse to assist, while Discovery just keep on increasing my premium and I can change to a reputable insurance company. I also can't sell my property due to her refusal to finalise the case. She definitely play a game and wants me to give up.
Do not insure with them. They make use of unqualified service providers. Their service provider caused over R60 000 of damage to my pool. The guys cracked my pool, use the wrong marbelite and then pretend that it is my fault. Went to the Ombudisman, and after months still can't get any response from both in spite of me providing all the evidence. Run away as far as you can from Discover Insure. It would seem that I also need to go to the Media.
Unfortunately I need to rate them as the worst insurance company I have ever worked with. For two weeks I am calling them, sending mails and collecting reference numbers, with no response at ALL!!!!!! The service provider, Pool Action, that they appointed, delivered shotty work and the the pool is still leaking, mixed the wrong colour marbilite, kreepy is not working, and the list is going on-and-on. Everyday day promise that they will sent out the assessor, but nothing. I even called the assessor Riaan Whitney, promised he will attend to it, but nothing. Clearly not interested in delivering a service at all.
It is the very first time that I had to claim and from the moment I made the call, the service was great. Riaan Whitney made immediately contact with me and was very professional when he came to assess the issue and damage. Great service.
