Telkom ISP fiber has been down for 7 days. Opened 3 fault tickets, but every time a service agent calls the call gets dropped and they close the fault ticket immediately. Seems like a deliberate tactic. Had enough, cancelling my fiber subscription and never coming back.
Thivha gets very high ratings on BidorBuy but this is not to be trusted as they have poor quality products and very unhelpful post sale customer support. Bought a battery from them that only lasted 5 months and then when I tried to return it for a warrantee claim we went around incircles for weeks with no resolution. Eventually Thivha responded that they would not warrantee the battery because of a supposed known issue with the inverter.
UberEats and Uber in general have a terrible web experience and ordering food from the UberEats site is a really horrible experience. But most worrying is that Uber overcharged my for my last order, where they used the vouchers I had loaded onto my account for the order, but at the same time billed me the full amount on my Credit Card instead of just charging the overage of the voucher value to my Credit Card. Do not order from using vouchers!!
Telkom, on the 31st of January I signed up for a mobile contract by calling the 10213 sales team. I was told I would be billed R799 (my contract amount) upfront once the device was delivered. Well, I was billed R1711 before it ever came. I tried dealing with the billing department and got a reference number (Ref# ********** 87), and tried in vain to correspond with the agent assigned Ms Patience Kumalo, but several emails have gone completely unanswered. Nothing, no response. I eventually got tired of getting no joy out of her and 10213 as they could not resolve the billing query and could not tell me when my phone would come, so logged a case via the in store resp from Mall of the South on the 15th of February to cancel the contract (it was still within the cool off period), case number Ref # ********** 4. Well, my surprise was great when the phone was delivered the next day! I did not open the package and even called 10213 again and asked them to get the courier to come and collect the package. They arrived once without calling beforehand, there was no-one at home and they said they would be back the next day. But they have never been. So, I will continue to get my bank to reverse any and all charges you debit against my account. Please come and fetch your phone otherwise I may just be tempted to sell it and defer my costs of going to your stores numerous times and calling 10213 multiple times and being on hold for up to 45 minutes before getting any assistance.
