Shocking service, do not purchase batteries from these guys. When the batteries fail (mine didn't even last a month) and you send them back (at my own cost Cpt to JHB), Thivha simply blames you for not knowing how to charge/manage batteries or blames your inverter model or charging unit. All he does is send an image of a voltage reading, nothing more. And he claims that's sufficient evidence. I changed inverters and chargers and the batteries won't hold their voltage under load. Thivha refuse to honour any warranty and Bobshop distance themselves from the situation by simply saying that they're "like a classifieds for sellers" and refuse to do anything about it. And they insist that the goods must be returned in their original packaging (flimsy non-reenforced cardboard offering zero protection against concussion or blunt force damage) and despite the batteries being delivered to them and even picked up again (at my expense) and returned to me in Cpt without any damage, continually use this as an excuse not to replace the batteries. I will be taking this matter to the relevant Consumer Protection bodies.

Thivha gets very high ratings on BidorBuy but this is not to be trusted as they have poor quality products and very unhelpful post sale customer support. Bought a battery from them that only lasted 5 months and then when I tried to return it for a warrantee claim we went around incircles for weeks with no resolution. Eventually Thivha responded that they would not warrantee the battery because of a supposed known issue with the inverter.

Thivha online store sells batteries on bobshop , Thivhakoni sold me a faulty battery but refuses to replace it ( battery started to fail after 2-3months ), to make matters worse he cooked up a falsified load test at extremely low loads to show battery is "fine " which it obviously was not .Also blames Mecer inverters for damaging his gel batteries notwithstanding that I have a letter from Mecer technical stating their inverters does handle gel plus I have instrument proof ( photos of inline 12v load meter ) showing the mecer inverter indeed cuts of correctly for gel batteries . Installed load test meters on the 220v side as well as the 12v side of the battery with photos that clearly shows this battery is faulty and fails too quick ( will supply copies to anyone that wants to see it ) , Thivhakoni just refuses to aknowledge the facts and prefers his own theories and just walks away from showing any responsibility towards product quarantee , so much for being an honest businessman
