I delt with Dewald Barnard at Jetpark Branch we were in the process of buying a truck from them, but they didn't have the papers for the truck. I offered 2 options to the as to how we can go forward with the deal. Option1: I pay deposit on the truck and collect when they get the papers, but they must park the truck and not use it anymore. Option 2: I pay 90% of the selling price and take the truck and pay the balance once they have the papers. He rejected both options and said I have to wait for them to get the papers. I followed up a week later with Dewald regarding the papers. He said he will check and never contacted me afterwards. I followed up just over a week after that and I was told by Dewald that they sold the truck to someone else. I lodged a complaint with the MD Lindsay and he said he will have a talk to Dewald. This was his response. I had a chat to Dewald and, yes, he may not have handled it quite 100%. However, he is my Business Manager, and he made a decision which he feels was in the best interests of the Company which I must respect. Unfortunately, it is now water under the bridge. I’m sorry that it didn’t work out in your favour. I realized the matter was closed and nothing else could be done. I then whatsapped all the original correspondence between me and Dewald to Linsay just for his records, while busy sending the messages, he BLOCKED me on whatsapp.
I sold my Hyundai H1 bus to Mit Mak motors, they gave me a great offer and the whole deal was hassle free. I would really recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their pre-owned vehicle.
My claim was rejected by insurance and my truck was towed to SMD Bloemfontein. SMD Centurion the contacted me and made me an offer for my truck. Pearl from SMD sent me the offer to be signed and all required docs needed. I couriered the required documents and also the original natiss document to them, they confirmed that this was received and submitted for payment on 1/10/2019. In their offer letter it stated that payments take up to 7 days to be done. It's the 4/11/2019 now and after numerous emails and phone calls they still have not paid me yet. I even got an email last week which stated the payment will be finalized in 48 hours which did not happen. From here on I am not sure what to do, they have my truck and registration papers and they are not paying me.
Every year we want to book our week holiday with TVGC it is a nightmare. They never seem to have space available. I have to send emails back and forth and end up fighting with them, and they try and send you to second grade resorts not of your choice. Not even out of 9 preferred resorts in off peak season are they able to help us with a booking, and with 5-8 months in advance. They clearly do not have enough stock available for their clients. There was a lot of promises made about plenty of stock and availability when we were signed up. The newest now is that they only have limited peak season stock and that I have to pay in a difference of R4659 for this. I own a silver week, but they cant supply me what they sold to me and I have to pay in if I want to use my week that I had to pay for already.
