I am extremely disappointed with the management at Totalsports Cape Gate. I found a jacket the TS KB MNS Studio-Tech Hoody - XL clearly marked on the rack for R269.99, but it scanned at the till for, and displayed on the receipt at R699.00. Despite showing the staff the price tag, I was met with four different staff members who all but 1 of them refused to honor the displayed price, claiming "the system won't allow it." This is a direct violation of Section 23 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), which states that the displayed price must be honored. Instead of fixing their error, the manager forced a refund (the last for digits on the Receipt are - Tran No:4211; Orig no:4210). I have the refund receipt as proof and have escalated this to TFG Head Office. I expect Totalsports to honor the legal price and contact me to resolve this.
2 week ago I paid up my outstanding balance on my Cell C account, I paid it in full and spoke to a consultant over the phone who advised me that I need to send my proof of payment to them as I did, I called back after I sent my proof of payment and was advised that the process will take a total of 3 days for me to receive feedback from them. I called back to them 3 days later and spoke to Sibongile, she told me that the woman with whom I spoke was wrong and should've advised me that the whole process takes 7 days excluding Saturdays and Sundays. So I decided to wait until the following week Tuesday. I phoned them, as I haven't received any feedback from them at all, I phoned them and spoke to Pendy she said she saw that it's been 7 days already and that I haven't received and feedback from them, so she spoke to her manager and both of them escalated the matter and confrimed that I'd receive feedback from them via email. I then only yesterday received an email from Melissa that says they're still waiting on response. And now I still haven't received any feedback from Monday. In the same time 2 days later I paid the remainder of my Mr Price account and within 24 hours I've received my settlement letter and a notification that my account has been settled. Why does it take 2 weeks just to receive a message "Please be advised we are still attending to the matter and will advise you once a respond has been received." And I cannot even receive a confirmation of payment received.
Okay so this is the how manyith time that I've been complaining and asking for assistance with a problem that just doesn't get resolved from Cell C! It has been 7 days now since my last communication with them due to the fact that they just don't care about helping us out! If been in contact with cell c Jefferys bay store, with cell c cape gate store and then with one Mr Moses Mofokeng that contacted me from their head office to assist me with this problem and not even he wants to help me with this issue! I event went as far to say I'll pay for the damage that I caused on the phone not that which they tell me is on it (because the phone has been with them for the past 5 months) so I don't know what damage they could have caused on the phone! There after they have the audacity to charge me a monthly fee for the phone that I don't even have nor any of the benefits of having the ****** thing, then when I went and reversed the amount due to the fact that I as a working class person can't afford to pay for the contract that I don't use then they go and cut my 2 contracts that I actually paid for and use, for nothing! How do I fix a problem when not 1 of the people that's put there to assist us doesn't even want to assist me.
I worked for cell c about a year ago and they gave me a WORK contract for WORK purposes and when I quit my job at cell c I gave back my phone with everything in it due to the fact that I wasn't able to afford the contract, I do not have the phone and SIM CARD nor have I had the thing from 22/12/17, and from Febuary 2018 Cell C didn't tell me that they're going to put the phone on my personal name and i never signed a contract with them to say that they can put the thing on my personal name, as I have 2 data contracts with them as well, they started charging me for the phone contract that I don't have and they told me that I had the sim card, yet I didn't have the phone or the sim card so I couldn't use any of the benefits on the contract so I went to them and they told me they can't assist me with this problem. So I went reversed my debit order due to I'm not going to pay for something I don't have any use of and only paid my amount for the data contracts that I had so they blocked my 2 data contracts with them due to me not paying my amount but I did pay my amount for my data contracts. Now they don't want to assist me further due to them wanting me to pay the full amount for 3 contracts where as I only have access to 2 of them before they will open my lines.
