MTN SUCKS - NO REPLY TO MY COMPLAINT ON 6TH AUGUST. I SEE THEY DONT RESPOND TO ANYONE THESE DAYS. OBVIOUSLY COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS
On 29th May this year, I received a message from MTN inviting me to upgrade one of my numbers 0731948114. I clicked through and requested an upgrade. I was called back and the salesperson eagerly helped me to do the upgrade. I asked what the P40 lite phone was like as I had previously had a P30 lite that I was very happy with. They said that it was a good phone and that the main difference was a better camera and more storage space. Based on that I agreed to upgrade with that option. My upgrade did not happen and after numerous phone calls eventually the device was delivered a full month later on 28th June. Surprise surprise, the phone had one huge change/difference to my P30 lite. I could not apply any of my free or purchased google apps!!!! I called MTN customer services and told them that I was unhappy with the phone and did not want it as it was not fit for use. The person I spoke to gave me a number to call and I called for over a week, never able to get through. I then called customer service again in Mid July and the person again gave me a number(different one) to call but also said she was putting a request on the system for someone from sales/upgrades to call me. No-one ever did. Today I called again and after being sent from one number to another, I eventually spoke to someone at 0873109583. The person was Nonpsikelelo Khwelo at +- 15: 06 on 6th August 2021. I told her that the phone was useless to me and that the sales person at no time made me aware that the P40 lite was incompatible with anything google related. She told me that it was not their responsibility and I should have asked????? Asked what!! I had no way of knowing about this. She went on to tell me that I should have seen it on National TV??? I dont watch TV. Her final indication was that I had to keep the phone and honour the contract because 2 months had passed, despite the fact that I only received the phone at the end of JUNE!!! and I had tried to get it resolved twice in July. MTN is useless. I am now a very unhappy customer with a phone that I cannot use but have to pay for for the next 2 years. I am seriously looking at porting all my devices and phones to Telkom. I am sickened that MTN are so quick to make deals and take money and thereafter do not give a damn about your problems. I AM DONE WITH THEM after 20 years of nothing but 3rd rate customer service
I always get excellent service. Delivery on time and good value for money. I recently bought a set of 3 photo frames for my granddaughter and they were really fabulous
Renewed a tablet contract I have had for many years, more than 6 weeks ago. I am being currently billed for it, but have still not received the device. Number starting with 06******xx Ridiculous to be charged for something you have not received. When I finally managed to get through to MTN 3 weeks ago, they said it was with the courier and the courier couldnt get hold of me. Absolute rubbish! Unless everyone is stupid enough to be trying to call on the datalines number??? Which has no device yet????? The lady who sold it to me, said she would follow up and ask them to redispatch..... still waiting!!! and still Paying !!!!! Disgusted!!!
What is the point of providing a 4G service with speeds that are on average 0.2mbps. Seriously I cannot work, pages do not load, continuous timeouts, cannot stream anything properly and even whatsapp is slow to respond. Also I have reported this more than 5 times, by live chat and email and still have NEVER had anyone contact me. It's like ordering salmon in a restaurant an being served a fishfinger. I am deeply disappointed in the data quality.
I have been trying to get hold of MTN for weeks now regarding my data contract 0836015661. If I call the customer service line, the option to be routed to a service agent is gone and only self service options are available. I have previously logged a fault a few weeks back regarding internet that keeps dropping the LTE. I have been trying to report the fault again but there is NOWHERE I can get hold of an actual person to report it. I forgot about the poor customer service issues I have had in the past - I use this service for work and it was because they stay up during loadshedding and the previously decent connectivity and speed that I increased and renewed my contract. If it cannot provide me with that then I will be forced to cancel my contract on the basis that they are NOT providing the service I contracted to. Account number C0042788
#SupportLocal. Takealot - when all the pharmacys had run out of vitamins, thank goodness for Takealot. Ordered from KZN on Sunday and was delivered 36hrs later from Cape Town. I love Takealot online shopping.
Prior to lockdown I bought most of my fresh groceries and vegetables from Woolworths Scottburgh, secure in the knowledge that their produce lasts fresh for weeks. I also love that they have so many healthy shelf items to choose from so that I can still give my family healthy choices during lockdown. #SupportLocal
#SupportLocal - this is a small gem of a general dealer in Pennington KZN. They keep a little bit of everything. Their bakery is just wonderful and the breads are well priced to be affordable to the poorest of poor. The tarts, doughnuts, ****ins and cakes are freshly baked daily. They also make wonderful meals. The staff are well trained and pleasant and if you are stuck then they will even deliver. Love Pennington Tea Gardens
Again trouble with my long relationship with MTN. The call centre is useless. I renewed my husbands contract 0731948114 at the end of Feb 2020. We were promised a once off 20g promotional data. This has NEVER happened. I have called in three times now and get transferred from department to department until 5 people later I am back where I started. NO ONE CAN RESOLVE THIS!!!!!! USELESS - My last post I said I would never renew my contacts and foolishly did not learn from previous experience.
