I placed an order for a pasta machine crank a month ago. I only got the order number today. I tried phoning for customer service 0105347112 which is on their website and was told they have changed their number. I phoned the new number 01082346750 and they seemed to have blocked me. I tried to email them at info@reliablestore.co.za and "The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:" I will not buy from them again.
I took my Hyundai Getz to him in Pennington place to fix the water in the oil problem. It also had no power to even get up the hill. I asked him to recondition the head. He said that he would prefer to recondition the whole engine for R13000 I accepted that and told him to go ahead. 6 weeks later and after many attempts to get the car or see the progress, he eventually said he needs to take it for a run. He came back and said that it was making noise after he drove it 300m. I said he had the car long enough and I took the car back. I could not even drive it 1k before it started smoking. I decided to sell the car and called Cash Quick Auto who took it for a drive up to Northway and back and said that they don't want to buy it. I sent the car to my nephew who took the engine apart and said that there were very few new parts put in the car. To date 1YEAR later I have decided to sell the car as I have been ripped off by this owner and as a pensioner cannot afford to get my car fixed. I made the mistake of paying him before I got the car back. He has blocked me on his phone and I cannot see him as his security will not let me into his premises. I also tried to get the Motor Industry Ombudsman to investigate the problem but there was no response from the owner. I have given the owner Ashlyn Moonsammy until the end of December to refund me R7000 or I will institute legal proceedings against him. I cannot even get an email to him on megasjlinmonsammy@gmail.com
I won a course with shaw academy through Vodacom shakeup. when i registered for web design with them they wanted my bank details and promptly deducted R499 from my account. Daily i get reminders that my course starts on such and such a day or in such an hour and they give me a URL weurl.co/vebygk that - did not match any documents. You cannot contact them by email, or by telephone and any email you do send just has an automatic response. I can access the class on my cell phone but need to log into my class on my laptop which they will not allow me to do. How do i contact them the only response cell number is 0820060015/16 Trying to connect to them by calling them only gives you the response that the number does not exist.
Our complex had cut down a huge pile of tree trimmings. This created 5 huge piles. I went to see the trucks in Midrand to see how much they charge. I found a 2.5 ton truck with a trailer attached and arranged with the driver that I wanted this truck to come and clear the trees and bring back the chippings. In a phone conversation with the owner I agreed on R1600 for the job. When they came they had a 1.3 smaller vehicle and still wanted R1200 for a single load. I had no option but to accept that at the time and they still moaned about the pile of trees we put on. The truck cleared only one pile of trees and not the big stuff. It was the small thin branches. The driver complained bitterly that I was overloading the truck. The owner threatened me that if the truck breaks down or if they get a fine, I will be responsible for payment. They demanded payment of the one load and promised to send me acknowledgment of receipt. what a scam. I have learned that in future I would 1) Take photos of the truck I wanted. 2) Not pay until I get an invoice and a receipt. 3) Any funny play or change of plans - send the truck back and cancel the deal. 4) Make a deal for the job to be done and not by load. 5) Ensure that they have enough assistants and that they bring a chainsaw to cut down the size of the branches
