I rarely write a bad review bit this was ridiculous. My partner n I went to pay all our bills and do a shop, sadly 1st ?ay and public holiday not a good combo. But the fact that the lady at the Chequers hyper blue route Tokai refused to punch in our account number as she claims needed a bar code which was a lie as we haven't had a bar code in years, as bills no longer arrive in post. She was busy and just didn't want to, so now we have to go back and pay late because of her attitude. The account number has always been fine. It was bad service and if she didn't want to be too busy she shouldn't have worked a shift on the 1st and a public holiday. I'd kill for work and would've done it w a smile. Anyway as of her we most likely w not only pay our bills elsewhere but shop elsewhere too. I may be small fry but have been a customer over 20 years. It's rarely I complain but that was atrocious. It'd would've been quicker for her just to punch the account number in than to blather on why she can't. Am disgusted.
Amp electricity installed a Meter not so long ago for me. Today my 89 year old tennant was v concerned as he'd put Elec in yesterday was fine, this morning it said less than 10 units and was beeping and he was v concerned. The land line on box was experiencing high call volumes so I tried their WhatsApp help and within minutes a wonderful person called Ashleigh had sent a code , requested a screenshot, checked for faults, rep**** that all was well. Was fantastic. Thank you Ashleigh at AMP electricity.
My 86 year old neighbour just shopped at pick n pay Lakeside. Which she has done for many years. Upon paying w card at the card machine the cashier said oh I'm sorry your card has been swallowed. She rep**** that's not possible and cashier said only joking. My friend suggested your cashier shouldn't make jokes like that to an 86 year old. Quite right. But I'm suggesting your cashiers don't make jokes like that all. I pray every time I buy food my card won't get declined, and so does most most of the country. I suggest your cashiers be trained to nod and smile take the payment and move the queue along.
So this is actually for madeiras despite being my favourite pub and best eisbein in the world, this is for the river tones reg*** band playing there last night. They are absolutely amazing. I've never heard of them although google says they are well known. I was blown away.id highly recommend anyone who enjoys reggae to support them and even if you don't , like my partner. who was equally impressed, give them a bash. Wow. The river tones. And also the eisbein at madeiras .
The bouncer wouldn't let me in coz I was drink. Well yes I was tipsy but definately causing no trouble. I wasn't driving I just wanted to dance. An other source was being tipsy you won't be buying drugs off off him so waste of his time. I've noticed all the people going 2 by 2 into the loo. Interesting I thought cocaine was dead
There is a lady called Rolene at ww blue route mall who has to be the nicest most helpful person I've come across in years. She should be cloned and made president
The staff and Woolworths shopping experience is a treat. Worth the extra cost. But try deal with their admin.....***** city
At the Chequers bottle store there is a lady called Andiswa. Now I had a whole lot of 20 rand vouchers and the ladies w customer care badges said oh no much too fussy to help w . She however didn't have to but did. I recommend she gets a promotion and the lazy on their cell phones get a severe talking to about customer care.

Had a query, called the helpline first as for my elderly neighbour who didn't want to go instore especially. Two phonecalls to help centre most unhelpful, rude actually. Then called cell c blue route mall got a lovely friendly lady called Cameron who sorted query in less than a minute. Very impressed.
