Subject: URGENT: Closed Account Still Reflecting Judgment – Misleading and Damaging To whom it may concern, I am absolutely appalled by the poor service I’ve received from Nedbank regarding a matter that is now affecting my ability to move forward financially. I settled my Nedbank account in full, and it is clearly marked as closed on my profile. Yet, despite this, the judgment against me remains active. This contradiction is not only misleading — it is financially damaging. I have made multiple calls to Nedbank, and was explicitly assured that the judgment would be removed by 21 September 2025. That date has come and gone, and the judgment is still there. This unresolved issue is now blocking me from securing financial assistance to purchase a home. I have done my part — I paid the account, followed up diligently, and trusted your promises. But Nedbank has failed to act with integrity or urgency. How can an account be closed, yet the judgment remain? This is a serious failure in your internal processes, and it reflects a complete disregard for your customers’ financial wellbeing. I demand the following: Immediate removal of the judgment from all relevant records. Written confirmation that this has been done. A formal apology for the distress and inconvenience caused. As well as compensation for what im going through. As it affect my ability to get futher credit If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will escalate it to the National Credit Regulator, the Credit Ombud, and pursue legal action if necessary. policy no in ********** 00139 and claim no SDP210177 I am a very disappointed Customer i applied for insurance on my Foshini Group account. I took my phone in on the 24.02.18 as my phone wasn't charging and the lady at American Swiss in Westgate mall mitchells plain ,very helpful staff they got assisted me with the claim she told me it going to take 7- 14 days for the claim. two weeks i went without a phone and received a sms stating insurance need a full description of what happened with the phone. I then went in to American swiss and they put me on the line i hold on for 30 minutes and no one answered. The lady told me that I need to come back the next day as the insurance may be closed already. I went back the following day and they spoke to a Regina and she said the underwriters still busy assessing the claim that was the 2nd week of March. and she said I will receive a sms in the following week or so as it takes upto 3 weeks for them to get a answer. I was waiting patiently for the reply and no reply was given. im a very patient person and I think after waiting 2 months my patients dried up. I then went back to the store on the 10th of April and the lady put me on the phone with the insurance again as she said if they call they get no response from them. The lady at insurance told me that the claim is still by the underwriters and she cant do anything about it. When i told her that im taking the matter to the newspaper she told me to hold on, shes going to speak to the underwriters, she then came back to me to tell me the claim was not approved which ****ed me off because it took 2 months for them to give me an answer like this why didnt they phone the underwriters the first time why did i have to threaten them to get a answer that i was not happy with. I then asked to speak to someone higher and that person told me to write a letter with my Query. I'm so furious with this Finrite and the way they let a person wait for answers. I had to pay for taxi fair up and down to the mall and its taxi fair not cheap couldve bought bread for my kids for the money i had to spent to drive up and down for an outcome like this. My charging pin was damaged the one day it was charging and the next day it wasnt. and waited 2 months for them to tell me they dont cover mechanical damaged. is fiddling with the charging pin not physical damaged? Im trully disgusted with the feedback i received from them
