I canceled my membership as soon as the 12-month contract ended. The sales rep strong-armed me into staying another three months at half price, which I reluctantly agreed to — then I canceled right after those three months. I called to confirm that the cancellation was final and demanded a verbal guarantee that no more money would be taken from my account. They gave me that assurance. Guess what happens? Another payment mysteriously gets deducted! When I call back, they hit me with some nonsense that it’s under my husband’s name and he has to call and cancel himself. Seriously, what kind of ridiculous, dishonest runaround is this? Virgin is nothing but a pack of outright ******* playing dirty games!
Grateful that they manage to maintain affordable prices on the everyday essentials.
Don't waste your efforts with Amazon. I purchased a TV, they confirmed that the seller was a ****mer. It has been 4weeks that I have been trying to get my refund from them, all I am ever hearing is that the ticket has been logged. Do better Amazon, just do better!
Terrible and untruthful call centre agents who lied and said that they will send you a free sim card and you will get free 100minutes or data!!! I continued to tell the call centre operator that I did not want it! she insisted that its free and what is the harm!!! Low and Behold- today I get a statement for R405.00!! I am so upset with these thieves!
