MTN called me to advise that my contract was expiring and was no longer available for renewal. I opted for a cheaper (no phone upgrade) contract and found that I'm still being charged for my old contract at approximately four times what was agreed upon. I've tried calling the call centre (no managers available and they can't assist), messaging their Facebook account (generic responses) and mailing their legal department (it will take 24-48 hrs to respond).
They are the absolute pits. They advise you that they're migrating to Frogfoot and need access to your home on a specific date. You take off work and wait for them to arrive only to find out late morning that the date has been changed to two weeks later.
One of the best sushi restaurants in Port Elizabeth. The buffet is great and the variety of sushi to choose from is well worth the visit.
Great food and perfect for an intimate dinner. The margaritas and draft beer are good and they have the best burgers in PE.
I took out a policy with King Price Insurance yesterday and disclosed every bit of information requested. The policy was activated and documentation received. Today I get a call from them wanting to reconfirm my details and at the end of the call a significantly higher premium is quoted. The caller confirms that no details changed but she believed there may have been a system glitch the day before. This is such dodgy business practice I asked who I can report it to and she became evasive and wanted to transfer me to her retention department.
My fiance and Mom contracted severe food poisoning at Brioche on Fathers Day. They both had the eggs benedict and one ended up hospitalized with salmonella poisoning. To make matters worse, the patient in the bed alongside hers was admitted for the exact same diagnosis after having the same meal earlier in the day at Brioche. That's disgraceful. Three confirmed cases on the same day. I advised the restaurant and they are apparently looking into it. Regards Brett
My wife bought two games for my birthday a few days ago and was promised that if they were games I had played they could be returned hassle-free. One game was and I tried to return it today. The game I was swapping it for was cheaper than the one already purchased and yet they asked me to pay money in. When I asked how this was possible I was advised that the games were in separate classes and had to be logged as being bought individually, which makes them more expensive. What a rip off. I was asking for a direct swap and not even expecting a refund on the difference. The salesperson took full advantage of a woman that clearly had no idea what she was buying at the time of purchase.
Hi I've been getting the run around from Midas store to Midas store and still don't have confirmation that the correct parts I requested can be sourced. The stores in question were Walker Drive and Newton Park. This is after being sent from store to store and being assured they were in stock. The parts I eventually received were incorrect and after investigation found to be listed incorrectly on the Midas systems. It makes you wonder at the professionalism of the company. I spoke to the manager and owner of both stores and have been told that they will attempt to order the parts and can only apologise for the poor service to date. Regards Brett
