Please don’t use Kurt. He placed in a new sink for me but didn’t complete the work. When I tried to follow up with him he does not answer his phone and does not respond to messages. Because he is contracted by insurance companies you think you can trust him- I paid him his money upfront as he gave me a sad story about clients owing him money. He did not complete the work and now I have a leak in the piping and he can not be contacted to come fix it.
I ordered a Weber GBS grill. Took 2 weeks to come- but in the wrong color. Reported this problem for an exchange yet I am still waiting( for 2 days now) for a response from them. I wanted this item in time for Father’s Day but now that is not possible. Worst customer service as they don’t even get back to their clients.
Booked a ticket for my domestic worker from JHB to Queenstown. She arrived at parkstation one hour before departure where she was told that she had to now go to Midrand. She would not have made it to Midrand on time even if she took a taxi there. So she had to miss that bus. I called Intercape the next morning. They did not want to refund the ticket that I purchased as they said that they said they sent her an sms to advise of the change. She does not speak english so I dont know how she was supposed to understand these messages. All previous correspondance was emailed to me so I dont see why this information was left out. None of the call centre people could assist me in any way. I think it is absolutely disgusting how intercape treats their paying customers. I would never recommend them to anyone and am going to complain about what they have done to the Provincial Consumer Affairs office.
