Extremely rude and condescending owner. My friend ordered tables and chairs at the beginning of February 2025 for our children. She paid the invoice in full upon receipt, shortly after ordering. According to their website, stock is delivered within 7 to 14 business days. When she spoke to staff on 9 February 2025 she was informed that the tables and chairs will be delivered on 25 February 2025. I was with her when she called on the 25 to follow up, when she was told she would get a call back. Instead, she received an email to inform her that due to a system error she needs to pay an additional R300. She called to enquire when the lady she spoke to was rude and decided to comment to someone else that my friend now refuses to pay tax. She never said that and corrected the lady on the phone. Due to her rudeness, my friend asked for a refund to take her business elsewhere. She received a rude call shortly after where the same lady requested banking details and my friend sent the same immediately. She also sent a complaint email which has not been acknowledged. She called today to follow up and spoke to the owner. He was rude, condescending and insulting. He told her that she is not allowed to share her experience with people. He then told her that he was going to contact his lawyer and will see her in court for defermation of character because she said that his staff are ***********. It was a very heated conversation and at the end of it she still has no refund and no confirmation as to when she will receive it. I cannot see how any business owner can treat any client the way he treated my friend. She had the call on speaker phone, I heard majority of the conversation. Telkom decides to switch off accounts whenever they feel like it. My husband and I have been customers on contract for around a decade now and they periodically decide to switch off and lock our cell phone contracts for no reason. When you call to find out what is happening they are utterly useless and need to be informed what an audit is. They take debit orders for random amounts whenever they feel like it and, you guessed it, getting to the bottom of it is impossible! We've been paying every month, without fail and have been unable to use our phones for over a month now because of this. So apparently Telkom gets paid as a favour and you get a nice paper weight in return. Great job Telkom, here's a round of applause!
The most atrocious accounts department I have come across in my life! Every 2 to 3 months they send a notice that payment is due by the end of the month. Nobody can pay an account due at 31 January on 25 January. I rely on my mobile phone for work but regardless of the fact that my payments are ahead they still disable my account because I haven't paid the amounttl that will be due by the end of the month. Why not call them to resolve the issue? They refuse to help you until they have received payment. Lodge a complaint? Pay first. They make absolutely no sense and I have had it with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND TELKOM MOBILE 100%!!!
Horrible service at the Montana branch! They got our order wrong twice, rude staff and now I have to tell my 3 year old that she can't have her nuggets after getting home BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GIVE HER ANY!!!!! We paid for 3 milkshakes and got one, paid for a meal with nuggets and did not get any. When my husband tried to tell the employee she walked away. And when you call them about it their response is that there is nothing that they can do. They will look into it within 24 to 48 hours. I will not go back there and would not recommend the Montana branch to anybody. Appalling! Never again. I work in customer service and would highly recommend that you look into how your staff act around customers and treat them. You get what you pay for? I guess not Montana Burger King...
Utterly useless and unprofessional customer service. If a customer asks for telephone calls at a certain time they ignore the request and if they cannot reach you they close your query. When you call to enquire they are rude and have a bad attitude. Horrible experience.
