From July 2020 I started trying to cancel my contract, I was told the contract ended the 15th of November and I could only cancel it from the 16th of October. I called cancellations and spoke to Zinhle, she told me the process, how I would still be billed and debted another month post the contract ending November 2020. The final bill would be smaller and my data, minutes and texts would not immediately be lost and they would roll over for one month. I asked if my number would be converted to pay as you go and when that would take effect. Surprise surprise I have recieved January's allocation and no evidence of my cancelled contract in October! Costomer Care tells me I have a valid and automatically processed month to month contract and nothing reflecting my cancellation on the 16th with Zinhle. Here in case, my reason for desperately wanting away from Cell C, the inability to be consistent and poor service. What more do you need from me to let me go? I do not want a Cell C contract
I am at a complete loss, nearly two months into my complaint, I have given Cell C everything they asked for, they have nothing further to resolve the issue. There is nothing more they can try to make the data theft a fault of mine, I have proven every theory they have attempted to give me as incorrect and now there is silence because quite obviously they are hoping I will give up
I am now in week 6, page 3 of reference numbers and different incapabable telesales individuals with no solution or explanation of how I could use all of my data on 72 websites in 12min of my first morning of my monthly allocation?! I have submitted everything the useless data validation, customer services and now the profound social media department has requested and yet no one is willing to refund me the money I have paid without fail every single month for 15 years with this bankrupt company? Every day I have to follow up, every day I am given a new reference code and the next idiot who has ABSOLUTELY no idea what the hell they are doing and every day I go through the same round about of explaining what I have emailed 17 times about now

Surprise Surprise I had my data taken and one month later I am still being bounced between Data Validation and Customer Services without anyone resolving the issue. I have highlighted the 72 DIFFERING IP addresses between 7:30am and 7:42am of day ONE of receiving monthly data, screenshot my phone settings, receive a detailed breakdown from both my wifi provider and from Samsung showing my working wifi and phone location at home, asked Cell C to recall the last 15 years of contracts to see when I have EVER used all my data in a month and no one has the capacity to do their job and rectify their error I will definitely not be renewing my contract with a company in the process of bankruptcy ... no wonder as you hire incompetent staff and loose clients
I made an order at the end of November, one week after Black Friday Received confirmation of order and payment on the 2nd of December, note to say delivery expected to take UP TO 5 days due to Black Friday (already a week past from Black Friday) 2 weeks later, now THREE weeks from Black Friday, I have no progress on tracking (last update, payment received 2 December), 5 emails have been ignored (4 to "service" and 1 to "complaints") and today alone i have been left on hold for 38 minutes and STILL HAVE NOT spoken to a human being who can tell me where my order is???
Before signing up for this "membership" (the call centre assured me this wasn't a contract and I was free to cancel the membership within 20 days of my debit order) I came online and checked reviews... It seems most who sign up with this company experience the same issue. My membership was cancelled in writing within the stipulated time, 7 days later I received an email saying how disappointed they were to see me go At the end of March I was debited again, I sent a number of emails before this debit date asking if the membership had in fact been cancelled and my details removed from their debit orders, all emails were left unattended. After March's debit order, I emailed again asking about the continued debits, as well as the free month each member is promised when they refer a friend. Still no response Yet another month I have been debited, first communication I receive that was not a system generated response is two months after acknowledging my cancellation saying there were outstanding fees...again I asked about my free month for referring a friend, and asked about these outstanding fees I have yet to receive feedback from this company and I have yet to be removed from their debit system.
