An agent called me from this number: +27 (82) 252-0576 and asked to speak to my husband I told her he’s not available, she asked for his number and I told her he won’t be able to speak to her. I went in to tell her that if he needs anything from them he will call them. She said that at this point they need to speak to him and I told her again that he won’t be able to speak to her, upon me saying goodbye to terminate the call she said we must not call them for anything, I proceeded to tell her to go fly a kite. I don’t know why your people are not able to take no for an answer, if I don’t want to share a person’s number, I’m well within my rights not to do so. This is very rude behavior, I understand that the lady is trying to make a sale but that’s not the way to go about it.

I received a message from Homechoice that I changed my contact details on Saturday, next thing on Monday I get a message from my Bank that I need to approve a debit order mandate. I called them and I was told the details I’m giving them are incorrect but my ID and name are correct, I was told they will block my account and not dispatch any goods. I’m hoping they keep to their word. How did they verify the change of address without my proof of address? What are their AML and FICA rules as we all need to comply? Are they not an accountable institution?

They charged me a call out fee after they had done work for me, of which I had already paid them for the job that they did. I still experienced the same problem and I called them to come back and check. Every time they had to do work they would leave a hand written invoice or quote, on this particular incident they did not leave a quote for the call out however they insisted that I owe them. I paid them their call out fee but then I requested that they forward me the hand written quote for that particular day, to this day I’m still waiting. I sent a follow up email to Ishmah at accounts and I was blatantly ignored. They don’t know how to treat customers, Shane from their accounts department shouted at me when she called me to tell me about the outstanding invoice, she even had the audacity to drop the call in my ear when I told her that she cannot shout at me as I am a client. The guys that actually do the work are very good but their office staff is the WORST ever. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEIR SERVICES AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
