A dream vacation looking forward to spending a whole week there .
Our stay was magical. The accommodation was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi on the deck, the steam room and rock clbing. Cannot wait to go back. *****
I opened an account with Vodacom for R250 per month. Telepage Port shepstone where I opened the contract captured my email address incorretly. I am currently in a maintenance battle and working two jobs as I am a single mom with three children and my ex does not pay his portion of child support. My job is also very demanding and some months I worked 12 hours shifts with a half hour lunch break. My ex failed to pay his contributions and I had to obtain a garnishee order from court to get the money's paid. During these periods my Vodacom debit order bounced and Vodacom never notified me neither did they track the debit and deduct the money due when money's did come into the account. In October 2017 my Fiance was called and told my account was in arrears. He forgot to tell me about the call. In Novemeber Vodacom contacted me and notified me of the arrears. I explained that I don't recieve invoices and as the debit order has been stopped I need the invoice to manually pay the account as all the account details are on there, I then request that all invoices be sent via email. I gave Vodacom my email address again and requested to please send invoice via and I will pay outstanding amount at this time it was R1200. Vodacom never sent me an invoice or statement. To date I have never received any bill or statement. Vodacom then handed me over in January 2018. Vodacom attorneys are now harassing me to pay R8800 and the bill is only R2500 outstanding. There is no way for us to pay the account as we do not have the account details all that is on the invoice/statement that was never sent to me. Vodacom refuse to request the attorneys to refer the account back to Vodacom. There is still a year left on the contract. I want to pay my bill but Vodacom won't let me . I also want the service I paid for. The bill to date plus the remaining year totals in R4500 the attorneys added on another R4000 and if we pay the attorneys the R8500 we will get no data or service. So they want us to pay a year in advance and give us nothing. This in unconstitutional. As a consumer I have the right to disclosure of all accounts. How can Vodacom not ever send me any kind of a bill.? Secondly how can I be handed over with no notification? Thirdly Why has Vodacom never sent me an invoice or statement. They have my postal address, my physical address my email address. I am here with the money for my bill and they won't let me pay for it. This is gross injustice. Vodacom refuse to send me the call recording of the conversation I had with the consultant in November requesting to please email the invoice. They said they sms'ed an invoice. Firstly my phone screen was broken so I could not open sms's , who sends an invoice by sms anyway I have never heard of such thing, maybe a reminder but surely not a complete breakdown of the account. What absolute nonsense. Vodacom is a giant , why do they not have tracking on my account like my other debits. Vodacom I want my bill please emailed to me. Please re-instate my account so that I can pay my bill, I am happy to loose the data from the last few months even if I pay for it , however I want all future data paid for. We have complained and asked for assistance from January on this account. Vodacom call centre send us from pillar to post , telling us to ask the attorneys to refer the account back, when we call the attorneys they refuse and say only someone from Vodacom can make that request. We are so dissappointed in this in- humane service and unfair threatment that my Fiance who has 5 contracts with Vodacom and spends over R2000 a month on these is going to cancel them all one by and find another service provider if this is not resolved .
