We are urgently waiting for someone to explain to us exactly what is going on and why our fiber is not working - We moved into a new property on the 31st of January. We then proceeded to ask to have our fiber moved but was advised we needed to give 30 days' notice of the move. This was the first time we heard of this rule. We were then advised that this can be done immediately if we pay a double payment and we proceeded with this double payment option. Vuma has been at the property twice, the first agent was quick to arrive but also quick to say he cannot assist and another technician will have to come out. We then waited a Week for the second technician to come out. They re-installed the fiber cable from outside, and we were happy with the service. This was done on Friday, since Friday we have been waiting for Vodacom to just press a button to re-activate the line???? Now we are being told they will only reset our fiber on SUNDAY??????
I took out a loan in 2020 during covid lock down. I have been monitoring this loan each and every month waiting for the final payment to go off on 20 November 2025. Not once did this account reflect as in arrears, so I paid my (what I believed to be my last payment) on 25th November. I once again checked my account on my FNB app last week and noticed that all of a sudden, I see the account now shows a Negative arrears amount with a positive outstanding balance. I tried to contact FNB via the chat and absolutely NO-ONE can explain to me what is going on on my account. When I go onto my account, I can see that adjustments on my account were made and that I now have 2 installments left and I am getting calls from collections department on an account that is supposed to be settled??? I sent a mail to FNB Loans on 2 December and still awaiting feedback, the person that called me said they will make a note saying that I refuse to make payment arrangements. This is not the truth, I want my account to be investigated before I commit to any payment arrangements. My original contract said last payment to be made on 25th of November so I stayed in line with our contract, but FNB is going back on the agreement? 5 years is a long time to pay on an account, If I am in the wrong, they need to tell me where and when.
Good day We took out a Vodacom contract for Fiber in 2024, we are still waiting for the DebiCheck mandate to be sent to us. We have requested this numerous times. When the power goes off I need to call in to get re-connected, I was advised to apply for a backup ups to keep the router on. This was declined because I am paying my monthly fees cash as I still don't have a debit order running. I have once again requested this to be fixed but NO-ONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. Can someone please contact me regarding this as I am on my way to lodge a complaint with ICASA.
Absolutely shocked, bought my husband a pair of Bronx Boots in September. it is now 8 months later and the one's sole is so torn you see his foot from the side. I saved for months to be able to buy him a decent par of working shoes and now he cant wear them :-(
After having a very difficult week I decided to treat my family to some nice food. I stopped at Blacksteer in Westwood AH Boksburg. I ordered two sirloin specials and one kidies steak and chips. Upon opening our meals at home, I must say I was very shocked to see how small the steaks were. I could fit inside a coffee cup and still have room to spare, but that was still not the worst. Eating the meat was such a challenge, the meat was so though that it was uneatable. We first used normal steak knives to cut the meat, then I took out my carving knives I use for raw meat but still the meat would not cut. We ended up using scissors to cut the meat, we could not chew it and ended up chewing 3 to 4 times to get the taste and then swallowed the meat whole. The meat even tasted burnt, strange considering I ordered it medium. This was extremely disappointing and I wish I had rather bought pies at the garage as this would at least have been eatable and would not have cost me half ☹
