MWEB BAD BAD SERVICE
I don't even want to mark the ONE star because of the ABSOLUTELY terrible service I received - or shall I say DID NOT receive from MWEB. I advised them in the middle of September that I was relocating on the 29th September and wanted to change my internet from a ADSL line to fiber. I checked that there WAS in fact fiber at my new residence. Openserve wanted to make the connection there and then but I didn't have access to the new premises. After a month of waiting and MANY MANY phone calls and promises by MWEB I was told that Openserve could not locate my address. I made MANY MOREY phone calls to MWEB, lost income and it cost me lots of money for DATA when I eventually spoke a "Manager" who was going to call me back that VERY day! - I am still waiting for her to contact me, MWEB have also NOT cancelled my ADSL line at my old address so Telkom won't cancel the line. I eventually decided to use the services of another provider (RAIN) who were prompt with their service and I am now connected.

Home (nursing) care
I recently required the services of nursing care at home after my hip replacement and for someone to assist me with my 97 year old husband. My Medical Aid (Momentum) agreed to 2 weeks home care and I have found the services of Caregivers West Rand to be excellent and to be highly recommended.

Satisfied customer.
I have had a very satisfying experience at Computer Mania @ Cradlestone Mall. I dealt with Ruaan and he was very friendly and helpful. The other 2 young men who work there were also very friendly.

A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER
I would like to recommend the company called National Power Steering and Suspension in Hammer Road, Strydom Park for their excellent service fixing my Kia Cerato steering problem. They were very efficient and helpful and very quick with their service

Very unhappy Kia customer
I am a very unhappy lady. I took my 2009 Kia Cerata to Kia Constantia Klook branch. My car had an terrible knock and "clunck" in the steering although my car has only done 86000km. I was quoted R52000 for the whole steering column to be replace together with a replacement part for the Electronic power steering sensor. I subsequently found National Power Steering in Strydom Park who replaced a worn "gear" which is about the size of a R5.00 coin and also recalibrated the Electronic Power Steering sensor and this all for R5000.00 and this all took less than a day.

SAGE Pastel - Call centre
I needed telephonic assistance from Sage Pastel after the change of VAT to 15%. On Friday 11 May I phoned. I waited for 2 hours for their phone to be answered, I eventually put the phone down. On Monday 14th I phoned again and held on for an hour. Again on Wednesday 16th I held on for 50 minutes. I eventually asked a friend to help me with my problem, and within 5 minutes everything was sorted out. I have heard from others that it is almost impossible to get of them by telephone. We have to pay dearly for their support but cannot even speak to someone. I would like to charge them for the cost of my telephone calls and for the delay in my being able to work. If they are having such a LOAD OF WORK and HIGH CALL VOLUMES they should employ more assistants so that they can give the service that is being paid for.
