WHAT AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE - a complete ****! Do not order from this company. Thulani advertises on Facebook. Even though we double checked and asked for company documents to verify, he ****med us by asking for 50% deposit, and then not showing up at all on the agreed upon delivery date coming up with all sorts of excuses, asking to reschedule. Then he NEVER showed up on the rescheduled delivery date, never gave us any reasons why and never asked to reschedule. He stopped responding when we told him he needed to send reimbur*****t for the deposit we paid and we were done doing business with him. We have reported him to the ***** department at the bank. NEVER buy from this company.
Takealot is dependable, quick service, secure and fast delivery, and easy returns process (they collect and you receive funds back within that same day). Very impressed by their growing selection of products and also their affordable prices.
Their customer service and online and app services are very frustrating. The people I talk to on the phone are very friendly but every time they try to connect me with the correct person the line cuts off. I have tried submitting a claim through their website and also through their app. Both give me error messages every time. I have spent most of the day trying to do it several times, have called them twice, spent airtime to call, and still have received no help whatsoever with my issue. I wish there was an option to leave my number and have them call me back but that is not an option. I am at a loss as to how to proceed to resolve my issue.
I am very dissapointed. My parcels were easy to send and arrived within the timeframe promised. BUT did NOT arrive in good condition. I sent 2 separate packages on 2 separate days. Both arrived bent and damaged beyond repairs. I thought with the 1st one that it was just a "bad day" but then when I received notice that the 2nd one arrived damaged I was very dissapointed. I will not be using PAXI anymore for my business as I cannot have unhappy clients or risk having to replace damaged items. I was hoping this would be an easy way for us to send parcels to clients but it has turned out not to be best.
Found out today the hard way that you can only apply for your first ID if you have permanent residence at the Pretoria Central office. Once I got there it was easy. They sent me straight to the 3rd floor, i received the forms, waited in the line for maybe an hour (which for home affairs is good). Just make sure to take with you 2 colour ID photos, photocopies of passport, perm residence permit, marriage license, spouse's ID etc.
