Went to the Florida KFC on Sunday 17th May 2026, it was 21:00 and the dive through was closed whie store closes at 22:00, got inside met a gentlemen who advised me not to place an order on the self service kiosk coz he needed to see if there's stock, whilst waiting a white lady and another lady dressed in Paramedic uniform were allowed to proceed and order from the same kiosk i was denied to use. And then I was told there's no more meat afte the 2 people who came afte me were served and left. I started taking pictures and then my order was attended to, stood another 30min while my order was being prepared, all footage available.
I went to Pedro's Chicken in Dobsonville mall on Sunday 21 April 20:30 and they had locked their door saying they are closed while the sticker on the door says 9pm, this is the 2nd time this is happening, there are staff members inside sitting and doing nothing waved me away. Had to drive to KFC in Florida to get food.
I would like to lay a formal complain about the Telkom Store in Maponya Mall. I recently purchased a New Telkom sim card was requested to have it RICA through a Telkom store which I went to do on Saturday 26th May 2018. As I walked into the branch I went straight to the Enquiry desk & inform the gentleman there about my visit to the store, he checked my documents & directed me to the correct que. I sat there for 30 – 45 min as the branch was packed & I didn’t mind waiting as I was not in a rush. Eventually my turn to see a consultant comes & reproduce my documents & inform her what I was there to do. She sadly told me I’m not allowed to used my driver’s license for RICA purposes, I was confused & then started asking follow up questions that led her to giving me attitude. I then asked for senior person in the branch, the consultant told me the manager is day off & then she called a colleague at the next desk who also told me I can’t use the driver’s license. So I asked both of them 1. “why wasn’t I told as I walked into the enquiry section as someone did check my documents even when I was waiting on the queue” 2.”What happens if I have lost my green barcoded ID & Im using my Driver’s license or Passport as means of Identification?” They both told me that Im wasting my own time with these questions and no matter how much I ask I still won’t get anywhere as nobody is willing to listen. I was shell shocked and assumes those are Telkom Custer service values & its normal for customer to be treated like that. I then asked for their respective names, walked to the retail store across the hall with the same documents to purchase a new Sim Card, with the same document & did RICA on the spot. My Telkom prepaid number is ********** 242 but on Saturday I was purchasing a SimCard for my daughter who is switching from Vodacom. Names of the ladies in the Telkom Branch: Linda Mkhwa**** & Nhlamazi Shikwambana. There are CCTV cameras in the branch should you wish to check my own conduct during the whole experience.
