POOR DEVICES AND SERVICE FROM RUBICON
I deal alot with Rubicon around inverters and off grid solutions. I have always valued the service until recently. We have an experienced team that has done 10's of installs. We recently did an install on a small holding. We ran the system connected to the Lithium battery for 1 hour as per normal. We then shut down and connected the PV array but luckily had fuses opened. We coupled the PV and their was a push back. We then disconnected every and started the unit up only to find voltage coming from the PV side. I sent it in to Rubicon only to be told they want to charge me R4500 to repair a out of the box failure. Screenshots of the PV connectors dont even look like the one part of the unit i handed in. Now i have a client without electricity and a request to repait a brand new unit. How poor is this. I have 15 witnesses that can say that units pv connectors are not the one i handed in.

USELESS VODACOM SUPPORT
My fiber line went down like usual once a month so i contacted the call center like usual. I told them that the modem is on the blink and after a few tests that was totally a waist of time they said they would log a critical call based on my need (Working from home). I followed up the next morning only to be told they have 5 days to look at the call (Not to fix) and in their opinion the ONT is not working. 27 years in the IT industry with a honours guiding vodacom through all the tests i have done and concluded the modem is of concern. It cannot even be accessed anymore. Needless to say, i have experienced total incompetence from all support groups in getting my call resolved. As long as they get their money which wrt my account is a month in advance only to get this shoddy support.

1Life bad taste for the dead
I took out a policy for my wife in February of this year. Unfortunately she passed away in May 2018, and no they found it not to pay out based on fine print that I have never seen. I have never even received a policy documentation. to make matters worse they still take her premiums off even when she is dead for the last 2 months. I have mailed them and no response. All I get is their automatic mail respond. my advice, don't go with this institution, they take with nothing in return.
