I have been insured with PPS for over 5 years, and my experience with them has been excellent. The true measure of any insurance company is how they handle the claim process, and PPS has consistently delivered. Unfortunately, I have had a few incidents during this time that required me to submit claims, and on each occasion the process was handled promptly and professionally. What impressed me most was the efficiency of their service — my claims were processed quickly and my courtesy car was delivered within two days, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. have been a loyal Cool Ideas client for 5 years now, but my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. I was offered a promotion via email for a 20Mbps fibre line at R349, which I accepted after confirming my address with their representative. I proceeded with sign-up based on this agreement. However, I was later billed R529. When I queried this, I received a credit—but with no explanation that my address supposedly didn’t qualify. A month later, the issue repeated, and I was suddenly told my estate was ineligible. Not only was the promotion withdrawn without valid justification, but they also reversed the credit and demanded back payment—threatening to suspend my service if I didn’t comply. This is misleading advertising and poor customer treatment. I was never informed of estate restrictions during sign-up, and my address was clearly disclosed. In any event I should have been informed the very first time I reaised the issue and not 2 months later. I’ve asked for a written explanation, requested call records, and followed their complaint process—but have received no proper resolution nor have I received a response from their customer care in over 21 days. This is unacceptable conduct from a company I trusted.
The service is excellent. Even though I ended up not using their service due to network issues in my area. From order to delivery the process was seamless. Packaging absolutely beautiful.
I have been without internet service for 5 days and have logged a call and followed up with multiple phone calls. Customer service cannot even provide reasons for the technical problem and say a technician will call, to date nothing has been done to resolve my issue.
I placed an order with this company and paid upfront. I requested a sample of the product, which was duly sent to me. I requested a branded production sample which I still have not received. The response to my communication stopped when the company received payment. The landline remains unanswered, no response to email.
