I have gone through a news/ sport and weather channels on TV... ENCA is the only one without live weather presenters!!! ENCA leading the field in retrenchment of specialists? Totally misreading the market? Ignoring audience requests and requirements? Bad management and poor strategic planning? Or all of the above? Many many viewers want/need weather patterns for function/ garden/ sport planning... Just showing 4 or 5 cities from each Province does NOT assist those who are not in the cities!!!
What a hardworking bunch of people! Owner, managers, waitresses, kitchen staff... All strive to make sure their clientele are safe, sanitized, served promptly with excellent well priced food. The inside restaurant is eccentric yet interesting and cozy. The outside area has birds, bunnies, chickens and a beautiful fish pond with private tables, open areas that all can view the music/ TV stage. There is wheelchair access, a fireplace and a great 'feel' of friendliness.
The new owners are REALLY working hard to provide excellent, fast service with quality food at a 'value for money' price. E.g. egg, bacon, cheese tomato jaffle at R25 during the day; excellent pizzas; Happy hour Monday to Thursday 5-6.30pm SAB beers at around R11. Music is often played in the outside (mostly covered) entertainment area. + Kids playground, rabbit hutch, fish pond, vegetable garden Keen to host functions. Separate bar available for functions. DISABLED facilities (one owner is wheelchair bound so totally empathetic). Clean ablutions. Plenty parking front and back
Watch out for this site... they TOTALLY ignore your some requirements for a partner - including race amongst others. The claim from their Head Office (Holland based) is that racial preference is not a requirement that should be considered. It is a requirement of mine for no other reason than preference.
I recently experienced an unusual 'blow out' of a Crosscontact 265/65/R17 All Terrain tyre on a bumpy yet tarred road. The 'tear' was in a straight line from tread to the rim. 4 emails were sent to Continental Tyres (I refuse to deal with the local Best Drive franchise due to the manager/ owners attitude) requesting an explanation as to how/ what happened. No compensation was requested. No response has been received. I subsequently asked another tyre dealership as to any explanation and they offered 2 possibilities - 1) hit a pothole (my three passengers agree that no pothole was hit when the tyre 'blew') or 2) a tyre defect
I had an unusual 'blow out' of a Crosscontact 265/65/R17 All terrain tyre during a trip between the Eastern Cape and Gauteng. The blow out was a straight line 'tear' from the tread to the rim. The road was tarred but bumpy and my three passengers agree that no pothole was hit. I have emailed Continental Tyres South Africa 4 times asking for any explanation (NO COMPENSATION REQUESTED) as to how/ what caused this as I travel regularly. (I have a photo of the tyre) No response received. I refuse to deal with the local Continental dealership (Best Drive) due to the managers attitude so asked for advice from another tyre dealership and the replies were possibly 1) a pothole or 2) a tyre defect.
I recently experienced an unusual 'blow out' (straight line split from tread to rim) on a Crosscontact All terrain 265/65R17 tyre while travelling on a tarred but bumpy road. No casualties thankfully but I have now sent 4 emails to Continental Tyres head office asking for someone to explain how this could have happened. NO BLAME was laid at Continental Tyres but I need to know if this could possibly happen again? (I travel regularly). I refuse to visit the local Port Alfred Continental store due to the Managers attitude so asked another tyre dealership for a hint of a problem.... 2 answers were offered - 1) a pothole but my three passengers agree with me that I had not hit a pothole just prior to the 'blow out' and 2) a tyre defect. I do have a photo of the tyre
