The terrible UI website should have been the first give away but I thought I'd give Raru a try anyway. I ordered an item on the 3rd of December and it was scheduled to arrive on the 11th. I was surprised to receive a message on the 10th saying it had been dispatched and would arrive before the end of the day. I unpacked the package shortly after it was delivered and found I had received the wrong item, you'd think a quick phone call would notify them of the mix-up and have it sorted asap, unfortunately, it's not that simple. The call consultant told me to send an email with pictures, the email told me to log a return request, the return request kept needing more info (back to the bad UI). Once I'd made it clear to them that there was a mix-up, they collected the incorrect package the next day, somehow though, getting the correct item to me doesn't seem to be very important to them. Not sure if I'll ever get my item or my money back but I now know to never order from them again.
I ordered a product on the 27 August and everything went smoothly, their helpful support chat told me the product would be delivered within 3 days if it was in stock. I received an email confirming the order, however, no delivery estimate date was included. A few days went by and I received no updates on my order (if it was in stock, when it was expected to be delivered, etc.). I eventually phoned the call centre to follow up on my order. Although the lady tried to be as helpful as possible, she didn't seem to know why my order had not been delivered yet and told me she would follow up and get back to me the next morning. The next morning come and went with no follow-up call, I had to call them again and they still didn't have any updates on my order. To summarise, it's easy to get hold of them and they are very friendly and try to be helpful, however, their communication is terrible and I still don't have my order.
I keep getting ghost calls from +27 10 ********** (apparently a Nedbank number), I don't even bank with Nedbank but recently got financed by one of their divisions. I've seen complaints of these ghost calls dating back to 2015 and think it is truly sad that this bug has not yet been resolved.
