Wish there was a rating lower than 1. Telkom i will never use in my life. And i would like other people to do the same, move away from the ******s. And move away from this bad network. I noticed on my credit rating that i am in arrears on my Telkom NGN account. Firstly i am not sure what Telkom NGN is and what i am in arrears for as i never received another invoice or email from them since 2020. 2020 February i cancelled my Telkom Landline and ADSL as i moved over to Vumatel Fiber. Today in May 2024 i followed up with Telkom what this outstanding balance is as it is affecting my credit rating, and they advised me i am in arrears of R246 for cancellations on my Landline since 2020. This is absurd. And not acceptable. I will never in my life use Telkom serviced and would advise no one else use them
I will be changing ISP's as i had endless issues with them. For months if not almost 2 years I've had issues with my ADSL, it drops every 2min or less, Never had issues before with low ping, but then all sudden ping sky high. I am paying for 10/1mbps ADSL line but i can't even stream 320P Youtube Videos or play any games. I realized when i log onto my Router that my line is Syncing at 7Mbps down and 500KBps up and i am paying for 10Mbps. I have not had a great experience for a long time and i am wasting almost R1000 a month on something that does not work. I know there has been a issue with ADSL as they are moving over to Fiber, but they can at least give me a alternative package or option that i can use. And now i am trying to call them on a Saturday but they can only give support during Office hours?? they should at least give after hour services for when something goes wrong but no now i have to sit without internet for the weekend as they can't employ people to work over weekends to give Technical Support.
