I've been with Outsurance for years. They are easy to deal with and the assistance over the phone, the people are always super helpful and friendly.
They definitely stepped up their game since 2014...2016's. The Courier Guy has become one of my favorite companies. Their system works great with notifications and pins. They are on time, get things done asap. I only send via The Courier Guy these days. Fantastic company.
Great service. There are many places where one can now renew a vehicle licence disc but this is just so convenient for the fee of service they charge. Every year I get reminders that renewal is upcoming (which is good otherwise I'd forget to check when it expires) I simply pay via EFT and few days later receive renewed disc like I just did a few minutes ago. Love it. Thanks.
I always have a great experience with RS Components SA Midrand. Have ordered online and been in store many times and it's a great company. Ordered again online recently, I neglected to change to my new card on checkout. They contacted me promptly and assisted. I placed new order and the items delivered following morning. Placed another order yesterday, items arrived this morning. It's my go to place.
I've been purchasing online and visiting their company store for years. I only recently again ordered some silicone and resins online. As always, fantastic service, with replies on questions regarding the products and methods as well as great experience purchasing online with fast completion of orders and shipping it out. One of the best companies I purchase from. Thank you for being like this for years now.....
11th of April I applied for a Data LTE package online. I received a call back and went through entire application on phone. Got the reference number and confirmation that order will be processed and delivered 7 - 14 Days. 14 Days later I called for update since no update was given. I was kept being told to phone another number, to select other options to get to the "correct dept" Eventually 8 calls and waiting later, someone was able to assist and told me there is NO order on my name. She then assisted me with yet a NEW application. Went through the entire process again. Confirmation of application and credit and everything was A-ok. Got the reference number and everything. TODAY I get a sms for confirmation of upcoming delivery. Only problem is, it starts with Dear Malesela M....... Which is not my Name or Surname !!!! So again I had to phone Telkom multiple times to speak to someone who can assist what the hell is going on. I gave them the order number reference on the sms and FORTUNATELY it does not seem to be FRAUD or identity theft since I would have been at police station now with case against Telkom. But on that order the delivery address, back account, ID number, residential and phone number is mine and correct. So what happened??? Well for some bizarre reason, whilst literally speaking with the person that captured my order the second time around or in between then and now someone went and typed in someone else's name on my entire profile. Really get your act together Telkom. Wow. Now the question is after fixing the name, will the delivery courier ask for Malesela or me the actual account holder for the delivery of the SIM and would I be able to prove even with my ID and proof of address I am the account holder and can sign for delivery. Very bad service this time round Telkom. I was actually happy with my 4mb line for over 10 years as well as recent and current Telkom LTE through WebAfrica. But signing up direct with Telkom is a nightmare it seems.
I'm super glad we have Takealot. Fantastic company. I order online, pickup on the way home. It is just so much easier than going from shop to shop looking for the item I need, standing in checkout lines. Staff at the Krugersdorp pickup are fast, friendly and always helpful. Prices on Takealot are usually better than shops as well. I've only made 3 returns out of 100s of purchases and it was easy, quick and no hassle. The returns was for 1 changed my mind, 1 faulty and 1 not going to work for what I need it. Every single return was smooth and no hassle. All of my other purchases were just simply a pleasant experience. I have to rate Takealot as one of my fav online and shopping experience companies.
I've had my Telkom LTE through Webafrica for a month now. There was a small mix up with the delivery and marking my account as activated, but Webafrica support assisted and I was up and running in 2 days. So no big deal. I noticed that my Telkom package 220GB/220GB was really fast, Speedtest.net I got download speeds up to 90mbps and upload speeds around 20mbps which is fantastic seeing I also have the Telkom uncapped 4mbps for years. So I'm loving the new speeds. THE PROBLEM : I noticed that some sites, some streaming networks, some content would stream super fast and others not at all. I've tried VPNs and all sorts of things, contacting the streaming services etc. Nothing helped. Yesterday Mothusi from Webafrica was my support when I thought of trying last resort before I cancel my new Telkom Webafrica package. I did not have my router with me and told him I will contact them from home. Just before we ended chat he sent me a link and told me it might be a possible APN problem and a possible solution to it. I went home, logged on to my Huawei Router, did the changes he (didn't have to give me) and it worked! He sorted out a months worth of issues, just by doing that something so small, so little extra. Just by saying before I wanted to end the chat, that I should really just try this, he fixed it for me. He listened to what my issue was and connected the dots knowing that if some services work 100% and others just not, it might be that. Thanks Mothusi and thanks Webafrica. your support and team are doing really well. Please look after them. It's only been a month and a bit but I am really happy with my package and the support.
Rain was the best option for my area and what I needed. I took a R479 package for Unlimited data Speeds up to 10Mbps Basic quality streaming resolution* Use in any 4G enabled device – including phones, MiFis and home routers. *Basic streaming resolution will provide a streaming quality resolution of up to 360p. I had good signal in my area and speed for the 10mbps package clocked at around 5 / 6mbps and web browsing was fine, but Netflix, Youtube (even 360p setting) was buffering so bad it didn't even start vids. I tested through my Playstation 4, Laptop, , Samsung Tablet and phone. All video buffered on all settings. I then changed the channel band to B38 for my Huawei Router (I also tested Rain sim in my Huawei Mifi router) and the speed went to super fast 18mbps dwnld. BUT any streaming of any kind still impossible. RAIN throttles any video streaming of any kind so badly even 360p quality with superfast mbps for a 10mbps speed test is impossible. They should advertise it as NO STREAMING on this package. I did all the tests, all the settings, all the variations, all devices. I also measured RAIN 10mbps (18mbps) connection with my Telkom 4mbps unlimited contract on a the same Huawei router devices, same conditions and the Telkom strictly 4mbps (highest I get is like 3.8mbps) outperforms RAIN completely. Even at 3.8mbps my Telkom streams video and Netflix without any buffering. Telkom only buffers slightly on some streaming platforms with limited overseas servers etc. DO NOT GET RAIN, I warn you. If you ONLY going to use it for browsing and emails etc, it is find. But ANY streaming of any kind even youtube lowest settings ( I am in a good reception area, strong signal) you will be disappointed. I cancelled after 4 days of activation and a lot of intense testing and best of all don't think the 7 day cancellation refund will happen. I am going to be billed 1st of August again. So it's R958 for nothing. They are making this of 100s of new users per month. I suggest not looking at RAIN. If any management want to prove me wrong, please contact me and let me be able to stream any video content better than my Telkom 4mbps line. Or give me my money back, where is the consumer protection act for your business practice? I am an unsatisfied customer with reasons to be, so a refund and my money back would be nice.
