They do not even deserve one star! We have booked a Contiki trip with them via STA travel. The day we went for our Visas, STA requested on behalf of us for them to send our travel documents required for the Visa application. Now according to Contiki's policy- they only send out E-Docs when they have received full payment for a trip. Right, So we were supposed to travel on 28 May 2020, received all docs from Contiki on 3 March 2020 confirming everything!!!! When STA went under, Contiki quickly changed their story and said they did not receive the payment from STA! When I go on to Contiki's portal, it still shows that I have a travel credit- so how is that if no money has been received? Tried booking using my travel credit but they keep telling me about the sopppy STA travel story! I want my money back from Contiki or a travel Credit, because in my case Contiki is at fault and not STA as they have done their part before they went down! I have all the proof on email!!!!
I always buy food at Funky Panda Chinese Restaurant in Rossouw street. This is the second time the Chinese lady or owner is so rude to me after a simple communication problem. I will never ever go back again. She doesn't know how to work with Paying customers. Will go where people have respect for their customers! Thank you but no thank you FUNKY PANDA!
I took out a 24 months contract in 2018 with Telkom. This year I wanted to cancel it, however it was not possible as On their system it shows I took it out 24 Sept 2018 but I still have 12 months to go before it ends I went to the store on 22Sept. 2020, they logged a claim. Today is the 3rd of October 2020 and nothing has been done as I went to the storr again to follow up. They give me the same old **** story every time Telkom is busy robbing me . They also said they cant cancel it immediately in the shop as I will have to pay a cancellation fee... imagine!!!! I am struugling SO much just to cancel my contract which already Expired!!!! Telkom is the Worst!!!!
I have booked accommodation on Bookings.com for Jan 2021 for 9 people at Plett Backpackers. The price was R900. Which was too good to be true, however I checked different days and it was still the same. I booked it, everything was confirmed. 2 Hours later the sent me a message saying the price was wrong and they are cancelling my reservation. No apology from that side, nothing! The price you see is the price you pay! Not my fault someone cant count and put up the correct price! Dont use bookings.com and especially dont ever book at PLETT BACKPACKERS!!!
We had our wedding at Makiti on 9 September 2018. Upon arrival to check in to our rooms Mady helped us, she has zero interpersonal s****s and treated us with dismay and did not make us feel welcome. The rooms are small,lighting is a problem, many of my guests experienced plumbing issues and you have to 'babysit' the staff if you want your room to be cleaned! One of my guests witnessed Mady loose it with one of the staff members! How unprofessional! The wedding When you go view the venue everyone is SO friendly and promise you the world, but as soon as they have your money they think that they are doing you a favour! I paid additional costs for certain things to be done on the day of the wedding like tying ribbon around the napkins and around the tie backs, I paid for 6pew stands and instructed them on where I want them. On the day my friends had to tie the ribbon and had to beg the staff at Makiti to do it, they simply said it's not in their job description (they eventually did the napkins after the begging however they never tied the tie backs simply just knotted them to the chair.) After sending them a long email after the wedding The manager simply said there was not enough ribbon, which was a LIE we made sure to pack enough ribbon! The fishbowls we paid extra for on the tables had no water in it, candles was simply just dumped inside of it. Some of the glasses on the tables were dirty. My friends had to ask them to clean the red carpet in the chapel, after saying they do not have a vacuum it eventually got cleaned. In the contract they state clearly that they cook enough food for my guests to have seconds, however nowhere is stated that their staff members will eat from the same food Paid for by ME. The so called 'Greek' salad was dull and boring and nothing Greek about it, simply lettuce and peppers thrown into a big bowl. The presentation of the desert lacked creativity, the ice cream was simply heaped into a big stainless steel bowl. I ordered additional sweet tartlets, not everything was packed out and some of my guests saw some of Makiti staff taking of both my additional food and tartlets. General The venue is not accommodating and act as if they are doing you a favour forgetting you are a paying customer just like other people. I received my breakage deposit however they did not refund me for the things mentioned above which was not done (ribbon that had to be tied and the 2 extra pew stands paid for by me). I am very disappointed by their service and feel they did not deliver a service as they promised!
