On the 21st of December, I ordered two items from takealot. Fiber and Hair piece. To my surprise, on the 23rd the courier called me and said he has my parcel but can not deliver to my address in Mamelodi because because of fear of being hijacked and that he is at a police station. As an understanding person, I went to the police station to fetch my parcel, to my surprise, it was only one item whereas I ordered two. The courier said he was only given one item to deliver to me. I have been struggling to get refund for the undelivered item since the 23rd of December. When I contact takealot customer service, they always tell me that they will speak to the delivery team and get back to me. I've been waiting for 7 days days now for them to either refund me or deliver the item. It means I gave a rich company my money for the fun of it. Because I don't need the money I guess. What a horrible experience with this company. Their customers service workers are inexperienced and lack the urgency to resolve queries.
The attitude of their Dash delivery guys is very bad. They need to take them to customr service course. Nobody likes to engage with someone who lacks basic manners.
I don't think they want to sell on uber eats because the meat you get in person is different from the meat you get on uber eats. So disappointing.
I've been ****med by this store. I bought a book and now thier website doesn't exist and email addresses don't exists anymore. Please don't buy from this shop. It's a shame that FNB open accounts for summer
Don’t buy Nandos food. We bought a full chicken last night at Nandos Gezina and they delivered chicken pieces that were left overs. It mostly had chicken breast with drumsticks and thighs missing. The pieces looked like they were leftovers of other clients. The disrespect of charging R25 for delivery and then deliver trashy food is beyond me.
FNB has adopted a style where they take money from your savings/ cheque account without warning and transfer it to your credit card or personal loan account. And they dont just take little money, they take a lot of money. Is this a new practice or it has always been there? I have been banking with FNB for 15 years and now i feel vulnerable and unsafe because i dont have a say about what happens to the money that is in my account during these tough economic times. I'd like to hear from people who went through similar situations..
