I ordered 2 fans from the Makro online site on the 5th of December 2024. When they arrived, one of the fans was missing parts, so was unusable. I logged a return on the 9th of December 2024 and the defective fan was collected by couriers on the 13th of December 2024. After a week I queried an update, to which I received an email asking if I had actually received both units I had purchased. Had the emailer read my initial return log, they would have clearly seen this information listed. After numerous emails and phone calls, I was promised feedback by close of business on the 31st of December 2024. This never happened. To date, the 2nd of January 2025, I still have not been offered a replacement nor a refund. I do not recommend using Makro online shopping service as their customer support is inept, inadequate, and a bunch of ****s. Avoid at all costs.
Shopping for a new CPU I went to their website and found the one I was looking for. Everything listed on their website said "check for availability ", so clicked on the link and submitted my query. I get a reply the next morning with a quotation that is almost R1000 more than what is listed on their website. I have a screen shot of the item as proof because in the mean time they've changed their website to the new higher price 🤬 Bunch of click batters!
Most useless incompetent service from the KFC in Heugh road Walmer, Port Elizabeth. Placed a takeaway order, got home and part of the order was missing, there was more gravy than mash and the mash was as runny as the gravy. Drove all the way back to the store, but they were not interested in making any amends for their error except to pass the buck to the head office which was obviously closed at 20h30. Seriously unimpressed.
