My wife and I visited Bossa Nelspruit for breakfast this morning. We sat down and ordered both omelets at 10h30. We waited a long time and eventually received our food at 11h10. While we were waiting the waitress did not come and inform us when we can expect our food to arrive. The quality of the food was terrible. The omelets were over cooked and tasted like rubber. It were the worst tasting omelets we ever had at a restaurant. We were so disappointed. Dennis van Zyl.
We bought the top model Phillips Air fryer from them during July/Aug 2020. Jan 21 it started giving us problems and stopped working. I did log a return and handed the item over to them. It took them 2 months, they delivered it back to us end of March. We used it once with success, the 2nd time it tripped the power. We tested it on various plugs but it keeps tripping the power. 11 Apr i logged another return and requested a refund. We are very disappointed and their service. I will think very hard before buying from them again.
Afristay did manage to refund me, except for a small amount allocated to admin fees. Initially when i cancelled my booking, they did try to help me with another booking in this specific area but without success. One area where they can improve is their call centre. At some stage i did struggle to get hold of consultants to assist me with the refund.
I made a booking on 12/10 through Afristay at Lakenvlei Forest lodge near Dullstroom for 21/12 - 24/12. A friend of ours told us they had a bad experience at this place recently. I read some reviews and realised that this place need serious upgrading and we will have a bad experience. Then i cancelled my booking and requested the 50% refund which i am allowed according to their cancellation policy. I hear nothing from them. They are not answering my calls. Looks like im going to loose my money. I did pay 90% of the full amount.
