They have been witholding my refund from me for over a month now and I am still fighting to have it rightfully returned to me. Extremely unprofessional service provider and staff.
Great for pet insurance. Someone actually calls you to verify anything if they dont understand whats been put in a claim rather than just rejecting it. Never had any problems
Usha was very helpful in settling my claim and instead of rejecting it because the info from the vet wasnt clear, she called to make sure she understood the reasons for the claim and was then able to approve it. I have never had any issues with dotsure because they do what they say. I would highly recommend anyone to pay extra and get the excess waiver booster, it helps a great deal and worth the extra R40.
I am so disappointed with the way in which a call agent handled a conversation. I cancelled my insurance due to inheriting a car from my mom who passed away in Oct. Spoke to Outsurance on 15 Nov and they were far from interested in beating a quote i got from dial direct and basically said "ok bye". This after being given the whole speech of being a loyal customer and they will give me a "great deal". Why would i pay R565 when I can pay R525? That was that and they said goodbye. Fast forward to 21 Nov and I receive a call from them saying that paying R60 more from them is not that big of a deal. Really, are they covering my bills? So we jumped from them initially telling me they would quote me R567 on 15th Nov all the way to R585!! I told the agent SEVERAL times that my mother has just died and Im not going to argue over insurance premiums. It got the point where the agent continued to attack me with sales talk to the point in which I ended up in tears and put the phone down. Outsurance hides behinde their sales tactics of being friendly and customer orientated but at the end of the day they are just a company making money. Please TRAIN your staff in dealing with sensitive matters and if you claim to be the best then ACT like it. I will rather let all my ''no claims bonus'" fall away than do business with this company again. Im disgusted. If it's not a big deal for me to pay more to remain a loyal customer then it shouldnt be a big deal to decrease the premiums to match my quote from dial direct. Can only imagine how they deal with customers who claim life insurance after losing a loved one. I shudder to think. Goodbye Outsurance. NEVER AGAIN EVEN IF ITS FREE!
Would've loved a bit more for my car but in the end I got a decent price and this was hassle free. Bronwen went back to the dealer to see if I could get a bit more after the first offer which had a positive result and Chris at Dekra Wynberg was really friendly and easy to work with. Carzar also arranged for me to get an Uber home. Overall, really good customer service and totally hassle free.
Utterly disgusted with the way in which Momentum has handled the critical illness and death claim we put through for our mother. They don't listen to anything you say and whilst my mother was DYING under hospice care I was told that she needs to sign the consent forms to get her claim through. How was she supposed to sign anything when she was dying of cancer and unresponsive?! This company puts you in a difficult situation when you are already grieving and if you don't ask what the status is on claims, you get no response. When you do get a response, they are constantly 'needing more medical information' or 'experiencing a high volume of claims' and we as a family have provided ALL requested information to process the claims but nothing is good enough. The critical illness claim is still being processed since September and the death claim process now needs more medical information even though we provided everything. No humility, pathetic service and no regard for the emotional toll their lack of customer service takes on those who must already deal with the death of a loved one. Who knows when or if Momentum will ever pay out on our mother's policies which she worked so hard to maintain. I would rather choose to have no life cover than take out anything with Momentum because your loved ones will struggle to get anything out of this company when you die or become critically ill. Disgusting financial service provider, absolutely disgusting.
