Kurt from K&R was appointed by AON Home Assist to attend to my fridge not cooling due to the recent spate of load shedding. First red flag was he promised to contact me on the initial day of my log being the 11th. At 5pm AON called me to ask if he had attended of which he did not. They eventually got a hold of him of which he advised he would attend the next day. On the 12th he arrived and looked at my fridge and advised my wife that he would give us feedback on the Friday or Monday latest. After numerous attempts to reach Kurt he finally answered my call on Friday at 12.41pm and advised he was sick but would give me an answer an hour later. It’s now almost 24hrs later after sending him numerous messages for follows up and the guy completely ignores you. Poor service from a provider that has been registered with a reputable insurance company and is now dragging their reputation through the dirt. Really pathetic that people have such lack of customer service especially that of a business owner that would only survive on customer’s satisfaction.
Had the worst experience with Debonairs Pizza Table Bay Mall in Cape Town. Ordered online for a collection as my wife was at the mall at 12.54pm. At 13.15pm my wife went to the store to collect the pizza. Manager advised my wife that they were making the bases and would take 10mins. After 15mins my wife went back to find out how far they were and an employee informed her that they did not start yet and apologized. My wife offered to cancel of which they said they would make the pizza and deliver it in 20mins. At 2.10pm after no delivery made I contacted the number on the receipt and was told they would get a manager to call. Manager called me at 2.21pm to tell me that the pizza was out on delivery. After asking him numerous times for his name he refused to give me his name so I could take this complaint further. At 2.30pm still no delivery was made and I told the manager to cancel and I will come in store to collect my refund. At the store the manager only looked for excuses and did not provide a solution. Was also then advised that my pizza was in fact not out on delivery! The manager lied and was not forth coming in being open and honest. He is a useless manager and does not know how to handle customer complaints! The general manager on site was unaware of the issue until this was raised to him when he passed the store. This is not the way a franchise should be handling customer complaints. Totally unacceptable and I will never support this store again! Pathetic manager!
Initial post: Cell C Fibre are real rip offs! Trying to cancel a line has been exhausting to say the least! We have recently relocated and due to our property not having Fibre we looked to cancel. We queried with multiple agents regarding the what the fee was if we cancelled prior to initial 12month contract signed. When queried they advised that our contract is a 24 contract I clearly have a signed document stating 12months. As of recent I have been told that the 12months is for a sim given to us and not the installation or router. Absolutely disgusted with Cell C, a contract is binding and since Cell C cannot bide by this I will seek legal advice and charge this to Cell C. Second Post: This is the reply we get from Cell C, when we did not even request cancellation. What we wanted was cancellation in January 2019 when the clawback fee wont be charged as that is 12 months! And this is the same person (Thapelo) that we dealt with this morning where we CLEARLY stipulated what the terms of our contract was. We are still awaiting a call from a Warren as per the call we received after the initial hello peter post. "Subject: FW: Interim feedback :S****** R**** Good day T******* Hope this email finds you well Please note that Your cancellation request has been processed successfully and your contract will be terminated on 30/11/2018 and claw-back fee for your account is R2,479.96, and it does not include your latest bill ,Please be advised this is due to CELL C billing in advance and collecting in arrears. NB: There is a 30 day notice for cancellation, notice effective from 1st day of the month as Cancellation can’t be processed during the month hence the date of termination is 30/11/2018 Regards Thapelo " Third Post: WE HAVE GOTTEN NO RESPONSE FROM CELLC AND CFIBRE SINCE THEY CANCELLED WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!! Lache Simpson who i have been dealing with a few weeks and her boss Thapelo who called us once then decided to just go and cancel without our request to cancel, have not gotten back to us!! we have sent 3 emails since and posted on hello peter twice since then. There must be someone higher up we can speak to as there seems to be very unethical processes happening by your staff. Or does no one know how things work there?!
