Hussar Grill Roodepoort / I want to thank Hussar Grill for their amazing service. Your waiters are amazing, your food is exceptional and coming to your restaurant is always a wonderful experience.
If there was a zero rating I would give it. We had an end year event at the venue on 26 Nov 2025 and paid 50% deposit for : Cherry Blossom Venue which included welcome drinks, a waiter, welcome canapes , specific table setting , speaker, flowers, variety of food. What we got : NOTHING, it was like they completely forgot about the plans. We were pushed into the dish up area of another venue that was not cleaned (they say due to weather.. ) from the party the night before and not been used for a while as there were spiders and cobwebs everywhere No drinks on arrival. No speaker . No ice available according to the workers. They were all standing around with absolutely no help offered. After having asked like 20 times we received Warm water, Warm champagne . The event was planned from 10 to 3, by 2 o clock we received one small plate of mediocre snacks that I could have prepared better in my airfryer. We left at 2 as in spite of all the promises that the food will come now and this and that - nothing happened. I have followed up with many people at the venue and are blocked at every step to speak to a owner or senior person that would actually care to hear about the experience and ensure that I am refunded. I made a voice recording of their promise to refund and still nothing. What was supposed to be a lovely afternoon was just horrible. There was on the same day another end year function where the team also left due to the same experience. I would really recommend people to stay away from this venue at all cost.

Thank you to Garage Guys for their professional, quick and friendly service. Their website is was to navigate; follow up immediate and delivery and installation quick and efficient. The installers were friendly , organized and very skilled. We are very happy with the service and product
Telkom customer complaints, service and billing departments are useless. I have been struggling for quite some time to have an issue around billing resolved by Telkom. It is not the first time that this is an issue. But the new issue : They keep on charging me for a service that was cancelled and then disconnect my service. They then even charge me a reconnection fee for the service. Their service as ISP is substandard , unreliable and often disconnect without reason. ISP speeds is not what is promised. To have issues resolve is almost impossible. I advise anyone to not use TELKOM. Absolutely stay away.
I share this information as a warning not to use Telkom fibre services. I have had fibre for a year since I work from home. I pay over R1000 per month for a line speed of 100mbps. I have run several tests over the past year and have reported the issue to Telkom, They have also sent their technicians. The line speed very seldom reaches 30mbps. I am now trying to downgrade the service or leave the service. However this seems to be impossible. I have to pay a new service provider about R1000 to take over the Telkom line. In addition it is almost impossible to speak to someone at Telkom. The general waiting time on line is about 8 minutes - and then the person you reach is unable to help you or transfers you to someone else - who is not able to assist since their system is down. URGHHHH! I believe that I was paying for a service that I did not receive . Which simply comes down to stealing. If you are considering Telkom please rather go for one of the other service providers. It will save you so much frustration.
