ABSA have terrible service and *****ulently with no explanation took R616 through a journal entry from my account months ago. I have emailed the complaints department , the journal department, the ***** department and all with absolutely no feedback as to what they were taking R616 for nor any refund. I decided to start banking instead with fnb but refused to close my account which was in a credit balance until they refunded or resolved the issue. I even emailed them and told them to resolve it before month end(about 6 months ago because I wanted to close my account before they charged me with unnecessary bank charges. It is now months later maybe 12 months and my absa account now Sita overdrawn by R1500. Absa has also been trying to transfer R500 from my current account to my savings account which bounces as there are no funds. The CHARGE R150 ECH TIME IT DOESNT TRANSFER. ABSA IS COMMITTING ***** AGAINST THEIR OWN CLIENTS AND CHARGING EXHORBITANT UNSEEN BANK CHARGES FOR TRANSFERS BETWEEN ACCOUNTS THAT I NEVER EVEN AUTHORISED. I have tried everything but get no response other than them telling me to pay the overdrawn account which is only overdrawn because they continue to charge bank fees and failed transfer fees on an inactive account. I expect them to reverse all these bank charges including the transfer fee of 150 aswell as my 616 ****** journal entry. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant SA registered with SAICA and professional financial auditor and I therefore know that they are completely in the wrong and will sue them if I need to in order to get this matter actually resolved because they don't know how to answer a simple complaint lodged about 20 times to all departments
Their pricing is the best and their product car insurance and general cover and benefits are the best in the industry. I have only had an issue with them debit ordering me too early leading to me having to reverse the debit order rightfully so and them then debit order me again too early and me reversing it again. My debit order is noted clearly in my policy so they have no excuse to debit order me 6 days early. Due to their mistake apparently my credit rating has been negatively effected. It was miways mistake though so my credit rating has nothing to do with it and they must correct this.
Knowingly arrested a customer who by accident forgot to pay for an item. No leeway or benefit of the doubt to fellow humanity. Failure to honour the human nature human error. Violating the constitutional and human rights of an innocent customers. Completely unacceptable. Legal action for emotional damages will be instituted to the full extent of this abuse of constitutional rights of SA. Wellness Warehouse drop your rediculous conjured up unprovable accusations. You will otherwise face the fullight if the counter offensive legal strike and your lack ofl social corporate responsibility and behaviour as a corporate psychopath will be spread far and wide relentlessly. You have one chance to remedy this. Hurry up!
This company coaxed me to their company by offering a raise in salary. With I. O e month of working there they suggested I resign and sign on as a consultant. They pressured my resignation letter and pushed a consulting agreement on to me. Within 1 month of consulting I was I'll for a short time. Upon reco ering I was informed there was no further work for me. The company intentionally misled me using a loophole to avoid the protections afforded by the employment and Labour relations act. I have now been unemployed for 2 year even though I have been rigorously applying for many positions further emphasizing that they may be rendering very negetive references or tarnished my Profesional reputation in the industry as a Profesional Chartered Accountant and audit manager. At the time they were informed of my thoughts on the blatant unfair Labour practice and the option for me to seek damages through Labour court. They were Co. Oletwky dismissive of my rights and acted as if they had done nothing wrong. This is blatant unfair Labour practice coupled with unfair dismissal. The incident has caused drastic damages to my life being unemployed I lost my house, my dear son, dog, cat, self respect and dignity. This kind of bullying behaviour of corporates is precisely why the Labour Act exists to hold to account such malicious cruel actions which have cause SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DAMAGES. BEING UNEMPLOYED I WAS UNABLE TO HURE LEGAL REPRESENTATION. HOWEVER DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCE I WILL NOW HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO OERSUE LOTIGATION TO CLAIM DAMAGES IN MAXIMUM POSSIBLE AMOUNT FOR LOST INCOME AND COMPENSATION. From the employee perspective and treatment by employer. I was hired on a permanent employment basis and left my existing employer on the prospect of a raise. Within 1 month of the probation period and without any discussions of problems or remedial action I was admissed at my first probation meeting they wish for me to resign and sign a consulting agreement instead. To avoid having a dispute I placed my trust in their promises that the work would be consistent and the money even better. After being pressured to hand in my resignation and signing a consulting agreement I consulted for about a month before falling ill for 2 weeks, which the employer was appropriately notified about. Upon re over I contacted the Co. Oany to inform them I was able to work again. They responded that they were unable to assign me any work at the moment and the immediate future. This led to critical financial implosion for myself and my family and had drastic and severe emotional consequences. This occurred in May 2019. It has now been almost two years and despite applying rigorously for oppertunities in my field I have not yet found work. Considering this company caused me to leave my existing job security and rendered me unemployed and financially ruined I hold them responsible and will seek damages I. The amount of income lost while unemployed. Alternative assistance was requested by myself from them which they denied. This issue is going to haunt them now.
Treat people and employees like disposable objects. Use mNipularion and loopholes I the law to get rid of employees without following due process. Destroy careers by hiring and disposing of a person who was permanently employed but as a result of moving to MD is now unemployed for 1 year.
i submitted my closure of account documents and was told after asking that it would take 2 to 5 business days. I planned my financial affairs around that as the money would be transferred to my current account and i dont have access to the funds at discovery i applied to be transferred. It has now been 13 to 14 business days and the money has not been received after numerous follow ups at 6 working days and maybe an additional 3 since then. Discovery clearly has no respect for contractual obliations and basic human dinity. I have not been able to feed my family as a result of their neligence and blatant lack of service. I will be claiming significant damaes for this as a direct result of the sufferin and hardship caused as a direct result of discovery not rendering its contracted service. Discovery is rubbish do not support them.
