Title: Isuzu refusing to honour known MU-X alignment issue – unsafe and unfair treatment I am extremely disappointed in the way Isuzu South Africa has handled an issue on my Isuzu MU-X. At approximately 40,000 km, I reported abnormal tyre wear and suspected alignment issues. Since then, I have had wheel alignments done multiple times in an effort to resolve the problem. Despite this, the two front tyres wore out prematurely and unevenly on the edges, while the rear tyres are still in good condition. This type of wear is not normal and clearly points to an alignment or suspension-related defect. Isuzu is now refusing to assist, claiming that wheel alignment should have been done every 7,500 km as part of warranty requirements. This was never communicated to me at any point, nor is it standard practice for normal vehicle use. If this is due to a known issue on these vehicles, then it raises serious concerns as to why customers are not informed upfront or why it is not addressed as part of routine servicing. Due to safety concerns for myself and my family, I had no choice but to replace the front tyres at my own cost. In addition to this, I have also reported: - A prematurely worn fan belt that is now screeching - An ABS issue where the system engages unexpectedly when braking after start-up Both of these concerns have not been properly attended to. I find it unacceptable that a known issue is being deflected back onto the customer, especially when it directly impacts safety. I am requesting reimbur*****t for the two front tyres, or alternatively that Isuzu addresses the outstanding issues and provides a service credit. If this matter is not resolved, I will escalate it further through the relevant consumer protection channels. I expected better from Isuzu.
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. From the beginning, communication was extremely poor. I constantly had to follow up just to get any response, which already raised concerns. They were scheduled to install a playground for us today and confirmed the time the day before. I cancelled my plans to be available, only to be told on the day that they would be late due to “rain” — despite there being no rain at all in Pretoria, not even cloudy conditions. They ultimately never arrived. This level of unreliability and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when customers are expected to plan around confirmed appointments. I would strongly advise others to think twice before engaging with this company.
Very unprofessional and disappointing service from Superpump. Their technicians replaced my pool pump, and while the system was working perfectly beforehand, my pool timer stopped working immediately after their installation. Their response was simply: “it’s an old system.” That excuse is unacceptable. Regardless of age, if something is working and your technician damages it during the job, the responsibility lies with the service provider — not the customer. Now I’m expected to pay for a new timer because of their negligence. This lack of accountability shows poor customer care. I cannot recommend Superpump based on my experience.
After countless emails, leaving a hellopeter and google review and them responding to it on hellopeter, this service provider has made no effort to contact me. I would urge anyone considering to use Momentum to steer clear of them.
I lodged a claim with Momentum for resulting damages of heavy rains we had in April 2025. The claim was rejected for lack of maintenance done on the roof. I disputed the matter as the roof was waterproofed less than a year ago (around 7 months give or take). I don’t know who waterproofs their roof every single month to be compliant with Momentums policies, but this is total BS. I will be moving my insurance elsewhere.
Impossible to make service bookings Phone 18 times and still didn’t get helped Managers don’t seem to care My biggest regret buying an Isuzu is having to deal with the poor service at this branch
Always experience issues when submitting claims. Their emails are not monitored and only receive automated responses. I wouldn’t recommend Momentum to anyone.
Jabu helped my effortlessly to get my insurance set up in a matter of minutes
Owner Ernest Jonker kept on mockingly calling me “mevrou” after the first time I corrected him in saying I am not a female. He laughed me out and kept saying it’s his autocorrect that’s to blame. He then continued to look for a fight on Facebook by making snotty comments. As someone that is a potential client and being mocked I feel that this man and his business deserves to be cancelled. I would strongly suggest anyone looking to deal with this childish individual goes elsewhere to look for a professional service.
Fidelis Projects, owner Jesse James Du Preez. Very unprofessional, and no idea about anything they claim they can do. JJ uses people off the street that has no experience. He himself has no experience either. He makes empty promises and fails to deliver. Their work will cost you more to repair than he charges for. He also takes very long to do simple tasks and is always full of excuses. He also uses the cheapest materials he can find. He is also very quick to make threats. Be careful of this man. He is very child like and has no integrity or building experience. Definitely would not recommend to anyone
