10/10 for Isuzu Cape Gate. Absolutely superb level of service. I considered selling my Isuzu due to the very poor level of service I received from Isuzu N1 City and Isuzu Paarl, time and again they let me down. But Whow I'm so impressed with Isuzu Cape Gate, they kept me up to date, daily with what's going one. Keep it up

Title: Isuzu refusing to honour known MU-X alignment issue – unsafe and unfair treatment I am extremely disappointed in the way Isuzu South Africa has handled an issue on my Isuzu MU-X. At approximately 40,000 km, I reported abnormal tyre wear and suspected alignment issues. Since then, I have had wheel alignments done multiple times in an effort to resolve the problem. Despite this, the two front tyres wore out prematurely and unevenly on the edges, while the rear tyres are still in good condition. This type of wear is not normal and clearly points to an alignment or suspension-related defect. Isuzu is now refusing to assist, claiming that wheel alignment should have been done every 7,500 km as part of warranty requirements. This was never communicated to me at any point, nor is it standard practice for normal vehicle use. If this is due to a known issue on these vehicles, then it raises serious concerns as to why customers are not informed upfront or why it is not addressed as part of routine servicing. Due to safety concerns for myself and my family, I had no choice but to replace the front tyres at my own cost. In addition to this, I have also reported: - A prematurely worn fan belt that is now screeching - An ABS issue where the system engages unexpectedly when braking after start-up Both of these concerns have not been properly attended to. I find it unacceptable that a known issue is being deflected back onto the customer, especially when it directly impacts safety. I am requesting reimbur*****t for the two front tyres, or alternatively that Isuzu addresses the outstanding issues and provides a service credit. If this matter is not resolved, I will escalate it further through the relevant consumer protection channels. I expected better from Isuzu.

They don't even deserve 1 star! I don't believe Isuzu SA cares and after reading the other reviews I see I should have checked BEFORE purchasing the vehicle. Almost 8 months of back and forth to one of the worst dealerships in Pietermaritzburg. The battery keeps draining flat and I keep buying new batteries but they never find the root cause and have just randomly made guesses on the problem. Now that I escalated to head Office, I am told via a call centre agent that I must monitor vehicle as I had an incorrect spec battery. The battery was not incorrect spec! I go from head Office then back to the *********** dealership team and now an After Sales Manager who never bothered to call or learn what the issue is. As we can see no response from Isuzu to our complaints so we waste our time complaining. Just don't buy the brand!!

Whatever you do – do NOT purchase an ISUZU and definitely not from their Midrand branch. We bought a brand new ISUZU X-RIDER 1.9 (close on R700 000) and have had nothing but ongoing trouble from day 1. It’s been a complete and utter disaster and disappointment from the outset. They have provided a ‘loan vehicle’ but why should we keep having to put up with that?? The current loan vehicle is inferior to what we purchased and there is absolutely no urgency in trying to fix our vehicle which has now been back 3 times!!! Nobody cares. Plus their stance is one of arrogance and complete indifference. Tomorrow’s another day …………

They really disappointed me. I am a teacher from the Northern areas in Port Elizabeth. And I approached Isuzu for the sponsorship for cricket nets. Unfortunately our school have no infrastructure for cricket nets. My learners, girls and boys, have approached me to revive cricket in our school. After reaching out to Isuzu, asking for a portion of the quote, they denied the school. This is on the back of us reaching out to them 2 years ago, on both occasions they have denied us. However they are sponsors to the elite (former ex model C schools) which can afford facilities like cricket nets, astro turfs etc. But our schools who are in need of funding are consistently denied funding breaks not only my my heart, but my children's future. It is very disappointing as most of these learners parents probably works (directly or indirectly) for companies like ISUZU, but won't support the schools that their children attend.

The review is to warn potential ISUZU or current owners. The review is listed by a fourth model generation ISUZU owner, please be aware of the current models. I did receive a re call letter from Isuzu to book the vehicle ASAP to the nearest dealer for abnormal inner shoulder wear on the front tyres. The vehicles needed a front toe setting. This is a factory defect that will cost the customer more than 50% of the damages to the tyres. Please do not request any info regarding the calculation done to establish the cost to customer, they will not respond. I need to cover the cost on damages on a vehicle with a manufacturing fault never been pre checked by the dealer when purchased as a new vehicle. The vehicle only accumulated 15 000 km when letter received and will never under normal conditions wear and tear to the stage that the tyres need to be replaced.

My D-Max double cab 1.9 Tdi has been with the dealership for 6 weeks. They are waiting for Isuzu SA in {{ort Elizabeth to give technical assistance and Isuzu SA says that the dealership has not given feedback. Between Isuzu SA and the dealership there has been no progress on the warranty matter in the last 3 weeks. It seems as if no one is interested in resolving the matter. I also cannot get past the customer care number/people as they keep on advising that they will follow up on the matter. It is not going anywhere and whenever I speak to anyone they blame the other one. So please if this message could get to a person or department that can make a decision on this matter I would appreciate it. The reference number is 87164.
