On the 22nd of June 2024, I made an order of products worth R2, 901,74, including delivery. After making payment, I immediately received that notification message that they're getting my order ready. I never received any communication from them until I decided to call them on Friday the 28th. Mind you, there's that 2-7 day period within which one should expect their order to arrive. I spoke to the lady by the name of Buhle, who told me that one item I ordered was out of stock. I questioned when were they planning to inform me since now it's a week after my order was placed. Fine, I gave them another chance. I asked the lady to calculate the quantity of the new product which I was planning to substitute with. The lady promised to come back to me asap (that's their word, trust me), she didn't. After 2 hours I decided to call them because I believe 2 hours is far from 'asap'. My call was not answered, then I wrote an email to the manager, using the email adress the lady advised me to use, which is on their website. In the email, I asked them to cancel my order since it had taken more than expected, and I didn't think we'd have a good relationship moving forward. Immediately after I sent the email, the lady called me back. She said they're sorry, another item on my list was also out of stock. I told the lady to stop right there because I'd already sent the email. I became more furious because I don't understand when were they planning to tell me all of this if I didn't reach out to them. I was requested to send my banking details for the lady to forward it to their finance department for refund. Monday, the 1st of July, I called again and was told this is with the finance department, and it will be resolved soon. Tuesday, I sent them a WhatsApp message since the manager had never responded to my initial email. I needed him to at least acknowledge receipt and assure me that the money will be refunded. The lady told me that she would follow up, but she didn't. Wednesday the 3rd, I sent a message again, and I gave them 2 hours to respond. The lady told me that my refund was loaded on the system and I should receive it today (in her exact words). Thursday, no funds in my account. I contacted them, then the story changed. The same lady I'd been communicating said I will only be refunded for the item which were out of stock, so they will deliver what they have. I thought I didn't hear her right! I demanded to speak to the manager, and she was reluctant to let me. I had to shout and threaten her. Finally I spoke to the lady manager whose name I think is Grace (though I'm not sure). The lady claimed that she was never told about all of this and blames her employee Buhle, of which to me sounded like a blatant lie! After back and forth with the manager, she said she would speak to the senior manager as she is not certain when my refund would be made. I was very angry as I am right now because nothing makes sense. That means they take clients' monies and make their orders, and let clients wait longer, and they ignore them. The email that I received yesterday from their so called manager, Philile, said that she has received my banking details and will do a refund asap (her exact words). As I write this review, it's Friday, the 5th, I have not received anything, and my messages for today have not been responded to.
Hi. I once made a quote for my car ensurance with Outsurance. They could not beat my then insurer. As their slogan, they claim to reimburse you with R400 cash if they fail to beat your current insurer. A gentleman called and advised me that he wil be in contact again to arrange how I'm gonna receive the money. It's been more than 3 moths now, no one has ever gotten back to me. I am just wondering if they live up to their slogan.
I've never been this happy with the financial provider. I applied for a loan which was a big amount. Application was done online, and approved in minutes. My monthly instalments were up to date. Unfortunately I lost my job due to retrenchment in Feb. First month after retrenchment I paid my instalment. I then called and informed them that I don't have a job anymore. All they asked for was a few documents verifying that. I did send them through. A week later, if I'm not mistaken, a consultant called me and acknowledged receipt of my documents. I was surprised to see a message that my debt was settled by the insurance! No hustles! Just like that! Further more , the same day I got these news, Finchoice paid my last instalment that I made after my retrenchment back into my account. I commend them for a no-hassle service and for being considerate of their clients!
