This company was appointed by Momentum insurance to fix a burst pipe in our shower. The owner send three apprentices without certificate and without a qualified supervisor plumber. Once they have started breaking the wall it was apparent that they lack expertise for such a job. Upon contacting the owner, Garry, we were told that he does not agree that a qualified plumber needs to supervise apprentices since their expertise is good enough. This is extremely unprofessional approach and contravenes regulations.
My flight TK43 Turkish Airlines on the 29/10/22 has been canceled, after we have spent 3 hours on board. The for cancellation was a technical problem as a result from poor maintenance. TA has offered us to stay overnight and take different flight 24 hours later . We have promised that all connections flight issues will be resolved to our satisfaction. Unfortunately my new connection flight has 14 layover as opposed to original connection of 2 hours. TA station manager in Johannesburg Harum Conul refused to organize for me hotel in Istanbul or even pay for lounge access. Not enough that poor maintenance of airplane resulted in me missing a family wedding which was the purpose of my trip I also have care the cost hotel accommodation and lounge access during long layover. I find Harun Ganul who as TA representative extremely unhelpful and careless. I do not recommend using Turkish Arline specially if you are going specifically for occasion, because your flight might be canceled at last minute du to there poor maintenance of the airplanes .
I’ve spent with Puma Rosebank shop over R30,000 in the last few years, one of the reasons I shop there is that I suppose the receive points for every purchase that are redeemable for next purchase. Unfortunately to receive those points at this specific shop is always a mission, their standard excuse is that their system is not working. Same story with the shop at Mall of Africa. You need to really fight to get the points. Even though next to every till there is a sign that if you join the program, you will earn points with every purchase. Only this month I’ve purchased for over R3000 and received an sms that I have earned zero points. Clearly it’s either due to un trained staff or a scam!! I was promised that I will be contacted by phone, email, sms… nobody did. I still did not receive my points which is very unprofessional. I am still waiting for someone to contact me to resolve the issue!!
On the 2nd of Jan we have received an sms notifying us that our flight from Durban to JHB has been changed to 13:55, we have arrived to the airport 2:30 beforehand and after standing in a long queue to check in, we have been told that our flight is full due to over booking and we can only fly at either 18:45 or next morning. Otherwise we can get a refund for our ticket. When we have inquired why we were not notified to the change if they were aware of it since the morning, their reply was “take it up with the managers “ . Zero effort to assist or even try to explain, completely careless attitude on behalf of Mango personnel. We have decided to wait the remaining 5 hours in the bid west lounge but we’re denied free of charge entry nor a voucher for a meal. Bidwest allow free of charge entry only two hours prior to flights. When Bidwest representative asked Mango to either pay for our early stay or give us a food voucher, both were denied!! Careless service, no care attitude!!
I have been using Discovery Visa card for a few years. Upon receiving an SMS to pay my balance, I have transferred $2000 from an oversees account as I have been doing for many years. However, after not getting my money for 8 days, I have tried to contact the bank through a function “call me back” on Discovery app, for at least five times. Nobody has bothered to call me back. I have called them directly but unfortunately their system is not working properly. The managers don’t have a direct line, call center could not help, blaming their system. In the end I was told by one of the managers that Discovery no longer accept transfers from oversees since they still did not receive their license. Since I transferred the funds to my usual Discovery card not knowing that the card has been transferred to Discovery bank from First Rand bank, my money is now missing, somewhere between the two banks. My card still states Visa and was never changed to Discovery Bank card. A few months ago, when I spoke to Discovery consultant, I was told that it is not mandatory to move to Discovery bank. A month ago, I did ask one of their consultants to call me back to discuss this issue but nobody did. Not in any of their communications I was advised that Discovery bank can’t accept transactions from oversees, like it used to be in the past.
On the 25th of Oct, at 1:42 we’ve had an intruder that has maliciously damaged our property. We have pressed our panic button immediately however, unfortunately ADT arm response only arrived 16 minutes later. Their excuse was that they drove to an 8th street instead of 8th Avenue. Their operations manager told me that it’s a reasonable human error. It was a life threatening situation that luckily only resulted in damages to our property. ADT as a compensation gave us 3 months service free, however we see that we can’t trust them when we actually need their urgent response. There is no justification to wait for 16 min during the night when there is no traffic especially since they knew there is an intruder trying to get in.
We have placed an order in July, until today we did not receive our goods or a refund, despite numerous requests. In return we get automated replies with no concrete answers when we will get our order or our money back!! We checked their FB page and discovered numerous clients in the same situation with no goods or refunds. This company takes money and never deliver!!
I have placed an order on the 22 of July Order number #000010011 and have not received it, tried to email and call customer care, emails bounce back and phone number non responsive. As of now, our money is lost.
We have placed and paid for an order #000010011 on the 22 of July. Until today we did not received our order or money back. We have called, their number does not operational, send emails, no reply. We believe it’s a fraudulent company.
We have installed gutters mid of 2018 when there were no rains. In Dec 2018 with first rains, we have discovered a few problems with the installation and have requested a service call. Until mid of March , they continue to make appointments for which we take time off from work and which they cancel without notifying us. If you are looking to use this company’s services, please be aware that based on our bad experience, unlikely you will get after sale support. With gutters installation, their efficiency can only be determined once it rains.
