Terrible service from the head office!! A few days ago we called rent a store honeydew and informed them we want to cancel the storage unit as we are moving to a new home and won't need the storage any longer. All Was well and they even offered us a truck to help us move our good from storage to the new home. They charged us R700 rand which we had no issue with... Today we called just to confirm that all is in order. To our surprise they said they cannot remember the Arrangement that was made, and also now suddenly the truck they were going to use has mysteriously gone out of service and they don't know how long it will take to fix... And now they only have a big Truck to help us at double the cost??.. This is unacceptable. Also we would not have known anything of these changes had we not called. Rent a store must come up with a solution to assist us as this is their issue not ours. I would like a. Manager to call us and help us out. You can't just sweep this under the rug and tell us you suddenly done recall the agreement.
Wow... You would think using this platform to complain would help you get sorted?? I signed up 4 weeks ago with afrihost for Fibre. Metrofibre have laid the cables in my area. Afrihost tried to send my order through to metrofibre but it keeps returning back that they cannot process as metrofibre cannot identify my property. ***??? You laid the cable in my area but you cannot understand that there are 6 cottages on this property???? Some idiot has captured this area incorrectly and now no one has any intelligence or savvy to be able to fix this issue. I have been told my head of sales department that they will assist me and it would take one day to just fix this address issue. It's now day 3 and I have heard nothing from anyone. I even called and spoke to a lady and I Actually BEGGED her on the phone to assist me. She said she can see the issue and will go to accounts to help me straight away.... Still nothing has been done.... I been struggling for a month to just get an order placed for Fibre. I'm fed up now with this pathetic service. I myself ams a store manager and I. Insulted that there are still people who call themselves 'heads of departments' that still treat people like this. I WANT THE CEO OR SOMEONE WITH AUTHORITY TO CALL ME TODAY. SOMEONE WHO WILL ACTUALLY CARE TO TAKE MY MONEY AND ASSIST ME IN SOLVING THIS ISSUE.
I will be sharing my experiences daily so readers can relate. This is day 3 after my initial complaint... Siyabonga did contact me on day 1 and told me he has sent all the paperwork to accounts but he can't tell me when they will authorise, he will call me as soon as he hears any news. Day 2 I heard nothing so I called and Siyabonga told he he has heard nothing as yet. Today is day 3 and I am praying I get an answer... Please bare in mind that from the day Cell C retract their order so that afrihost can assist me I will have to wait 2 weeks for metro fibre to come out to install my Fibre. As I stated in my initial post I work on the internet and rely on communicating with clients fory work. Is their anyone who can please follow up urgently?? I will be posting here every day till this issue get resolved.
I have never used a platform to complain about anything before. But Cell C Fibre I could not hold back any more. I have moved in to my new cottage this weekend. Last week I called afrihost to order Fibre and as usual I received a good service and they accepted my order. After few days I call to check how fary order is and I get a reply that they cannot install as the previous tenant already placed an order for Fibre with Cell C to that address... (Please note that cell C have not installed any Fibre to that property as yet) ..... I call the previous tenant and he tells me that he has canceled the fibre order with Cell C on the 19 February, we now 1 April.... I work on the net and rely on it for my salary at the end of the month. So now I cannot install Fibre till Cell C retract the order... How can it take over a month to just retract an order??? As I stated above Cell C have not done any work there as the Fibre cable is still hanging rolled up on the wooden street pole outside my cottage. I will call ICASA if I do not get anyone with authority to call me from Cell C... I'm losing money cause of laziness... All I need is for someone to just hot a cancel on a computer screen.... Best of all, I call to speak to a manager and he somehow is always on luch when I call.... Go figure!! Cell C I give you till Wednesday for someone to call me from your accounts department. The business between the previous tenant and yourselves is your business. But this should not hold up my connection as the guys has moved out. He does not stay on that property.
