Due to the nature of my work, I'm in a position that I hear many clients' opinions regarding various insurance companies. I've been amazed how much positive feedback I hear regarding Safire on a regular basis. So, I was not entirely surprised when my turn came around, how professional and pain-free the experience was. Thank you SAFIRE.
On 28 March I placed a complaint on this site regarding the fact that one receives no response from GLA. The very next day GLA responded to this site by saying "We acknowledge a complaint laid against our company and appreciate your feedback. A consultant will be in contact to resolve your complaint." 14 DAYS LATER GLA STILL HAS ZERO INTEGRITY AND HAS SUPPLIED ZERO RESPONSE. STILL AWAITING THE PROMISED CONSULTANT. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME BY GIVING THE SAME REPLY TO THIS POSTING. I realized then already that it is an empty promise so I responded the same day, 29 March with the following: Since you are so quick to "acknowledge a complaint laid against" your company now that you have been challenged on a public forum, can you also publicly either deny or acknowledge the following emails you have received regarding this situation (this only covers the email attempts from 11 December and excludes telephone calls, requests sent through your app, WhatsApp messages sent, etc. - all of which I also have full record): Emails sent to: • gla@debtrecoveries.co.za - 11 Dec., 1 Jan., 3 Feb., 7 Feb., 12 Feb., 4 Mar. • bmlangeni@gla.co.za – 11 Dec., 25 Jan., 26 Jan. • info@gla.co.za – 24 Dec. • info@campaign.gla.co.za – 25 Jan., 26 Jan., • annemarie@gla.co.za – 26 Jan., 31 Jan., 3 Feb., 7 Feb., 12 Feb., 4 Mar. All this while explaining that payments are not reflecting, payment amounts seem inaccurate, and merely requesting a statement from GLA (which we have received before when requested) and now being told that FNB must provide the statement. Funds have been paid to GLA - not FNB. Publicly deny or acknowledge all of the above email request for a statement that have yielded ZERO fruits. The total number of emails in the past four months now stand at 23. ZERO success.
SCAM SCAM SCAM! The best organized scam in South Africa. Finished paying off. Suddenly a new R6000 rand amount appears. Numerous calls. Numerous emails sent by us!!!!!!!! We have copies of our statements of some time back. Just when the amount is paid off, this happens! Your sms lines receive no response! They are not even read. When one person finally answers you begin a conversation and then a week or two later they disappear into thin air. The online app showed our last payment was R3 that is "three rand" while in fact it was R3000. Numerous attempts - we have the paper trail!!! - zero result. It is without a doubt the MOST pathetic company we have ever had to deal with in South Africa. Phone calls, emails, app statement requests, sms communication, Whatsapp messages, have ALL yielded the same result. ZERO answers. All that we have requested for more than a year is a full statement. Then we get a letter saying "Mrs ... , R0.00 payments are recorded for January 2021 with no excuse on file. Due to not making payment you are implicating your credit standings with all bureaus as well as your risk profile with FNB, therefore your account has been referred to our legal department and may be instructed to proceed. You have not shown any interest in paying your account and as a result the full balance is now due with immediate effect. We require that you immediately confirm your address via Email or WhatsApp." Pathetic. Please do not brush off this complaint like you have done a few days earlier with a different complaint merely stating "Check your inbox for our response." Be brave and say what you wish to say in public. The public is BEYOND the point of frustration with Groenewald Lubbe.
They know the market and products well. Booking a ticket is one thing - booking the best ticket for your needs is another. Flight Centre never disappoints me. Combine quality service with quick service - you get FC. Thanks Helene from the George branch for keeping me loyal to FC.
I have rated MFC as a 4, my actual experience with them is a 5 and will only drop down to 4 if J Isaacs and Associates are genuinely their legal representatives. I received an email from J Isaacs & Associates claiming that they are the legal representatives of MFC a Division of Nedbank. They may or may not be but why does a company of such standing send one an email with no letterhead, no logos, no company signature at the end of the email, a mweb email address and then when I call them they merely answer "Hello". No company name, no name of person, etc. I had to make a quick decision if this was a scam or not and struggled to retract my call. If this is legit then MFC should think twice using this company. It makes one feel very uneasy.
