I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by THEO LOUW from GL Attorneys regarding my Unifi account. I contacted their office this morning in good faith because I am trying to resolve my outstanding balance. My intention was to request a possible settlement discount so that I could pay the account off by Friday. I was not aware that legal fees had been added to the account, which caused the balance to increase significantly, and I simply wanted clarity and assistance so that I could settle the matter. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional behaviour from THEO LOUW shockingly that he is a manager. His tone was dismissive and confrontational from the start. Rather than explaining the account or trying to assist someone who was actively attempting to pay, he made threatening remarks and spoke to me in a way that felt intimidating and disrespectful. This experience left me feeling completely disrespected and discouraged, despite the fact that I reached out specifically because I want to pay and resolve the account. No consumer who is trying to settle a debt should be treated in such an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Debt collectors and attorneys are expected to follow fair and ethical debt collection practices. ************, threats, and abusive conduct towards consumers are unacceptable and do not align with the professional standards expected from a law firm. I am therefore requesting that GL Attorneys urgently investigate the conduct of THEO LOUW and review the way this matter was handled. I would also like to be contacted by a senior representative who can provide a clear breakdown of the balance and discuss a reasonable settlement so that I can resolve this account immediately. If this matter is not addressed, I will have no choice but to escalate the complaint further through the appropriate regulatory channels. I expect a response from GL Attorneys as a matter of urgency.

I am not happy about Joyce customer service.I received an email that I only paid for February and I also sent her proof of payments with my reference number for Jan/Feb she did not get back to me and tell me this has been fixed or what.I can not owe R2,5 and end up paying R3000 l.I will personally take this to ombudsman because I do have proof of payment for 2 months yet your statement only shows February mxm.poor sevice Joyce

GL Attorneys are very rude and unprofessional, when you ask for information which you are entitle to, they will shout at you as if you are a two-year-old so that you can cornered and intimidated.

My Netstar account has been handed to them, they have a website where you can see the amount you owe and select payment options there. I choose to pay the account in full it redirects you to your app to pay and after I was done, I got the payment successful screen. that was on the 25th Feb 2026. they still have not closed the account instead they keep calling about intrest fee when i have paid up and sent them multiple proof of payment.

I would like to report this company for continuous harassment for a debt that doesn't belong to me. I have emailed them and even spoken with them on numerous occasions that they are communicating with the wrong person and they just ignore it and continue with the phone calls and emails and text messages.

FNB handed over my credit card account as it was in arrears and I worked hard to remedy that situation. I have since paid up and they now are ignoring my emails to send me a paid up letter, prior to this it was a struggle for them to update payments accordingly, the owing amount would not match the payments and statements were not sent timeously. On FNB’s side I am still in arrears yet I have styled the debt with their chosen debt collector. The last time I asked for the paid up letter, I was told it would take 2-3 days… it’s been more than a week since the 2-3 days lapsed. Now they’re blue ticking me even on their WhatsApp line.

November 2023 i lodged a ***** case with FNB the card was frozen and a ***** case lodged. but fast forward to 2025/2026 GL attorneys call me every second to threaten Section 29 case against me. I've send them proof of the *****, case lodged with FNB with no feedback. please can GL Attorneys remove this listing off Transunion as i don't owe them or FNB.

Despite multiple communications with Lerato and Patricia, I continue to receive calls and SMS messages about an outstanding payment, even though a debit order was successfully processed from my account on 24 January 2026. My previous emails on this matter appear to have been ignored, and instead of addressing the issue, I am repeatedly contacted without any acknowledgment or resolution. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable and has caused considerable frustration. I request that this matter be investigated urgently and that I receive confirmation of the payment being acknowledged and the issue resolved. I would also appreciate assurance that I will not continue to receive calls or messages regarding this matter.
