*******. Bought a monitor at cash converters Morning Glen. I asked if I can return it if it doesn't fit in the space I need it to fit in, I was told that I can. This was Friday. It's Monday and I call in asking if I can come in today and return it and was told that they do not do refunds. Spent R1.6k for an item that I can't use and the shop won't take back.
I paid off my loan more than two months ago. The loan was handed over to them. I have contacted them numerous times over the last two months, even phoned. The loan still reflects on my credit profile as outstanding debt. They harass you even when you have no money, and when you finally can pay, they take forever doing their part. I'm still waiting and my emails are being left unanswered. They are serious about collecting money, but not about helping you
Claim tracker is broken and it is not updating. I am trying to create a new claim but it says that I have a claim in progress BUT I CANNOT SEE THE CLAIM STATUS!! I left my previous employer and they put in a claim on my behalf to move from one RA to another within AF and I don't know the status of that claim at all. Emails are answered and so are phone calls...I don't even know if the claim is with SARS yet or anything.
Extremely unhelpful. Whatsapp agent is pretty much useless. I want communications on whatsapp or email because I need proof of this stuff that I am agreeing too and they are so reluctant to do that. My debt got sold to them and basically doubled in cost. They want all my bank info and debit order info before even discussing a payment arrangement, which is beyond crazy and absurd. How can I agree to a debit order if we have not discussed terms.... Got an sms saying an agent will visit me, asked on whatsapp, where, time, any other details and if they are still coming - whatsapp agent is useless and ignoring those messages but replying to everything else. Got another sms that my account qualifies for a discount, whatsapp agent tells me my account type does not get any discounts and just set a settlement letter.....No further discussions at all.
I have been trying since December to get a reply from them concerning my loan payments. I made a payment to settle my account and I have not received even an automated message back saying that they have received my money. My payment only reflects on the loan statement and the loan balance on the website reflects my balance change. But still no communication from them regarding paid up letters or responses to my emails....
Paid off my loan early. Reflected on their system as loan paid off days before debit order. Debit order still went off. I requested a refund and they literally told me that they'll contact me and CLOSED THE TICKET How can they follow the refund if they closed the case ?? I marked the refund as urgent because it's Christmas Time and I really need the money. That's why I used my bonus to pay off my loan. So no debt into 2025.
