I would like to thank this butchery for accommodating every during this 21 days lockdown. Thier fridges are always packed with variety of different types of meat and reasonable prices to accommodate everyone. As little as R20 you are able to buy and go home and cook a descent meal for a family of four to enjoy. Thank you so much to Roots for taking care of us especially us in Soweto. I really appreciate it because I know hunger does exist in our community.
Morning We went to KFC Amalgam. Roughly on the 29 of the month May 2019, it was me my Dad, Mom, and my daughter.We bought our meals at the drive thru, as the guy was preparing cold drinks for us we head a funny sound coming from cold drink machine and we ask him about the sound and he replied saying " it nothing, its just the pump at the back, I'll fix it".As we started drinking our cold drink we could taste that something is wrong. But we thought to ourselves it's just the mindset, since we head the sound, and again why would they sell us faulty drinks we continue drinking. But as my dad was driving he didn't drink his. We got home , hours later my daughter started feeling stomach cramps. And felling dizzy, my mom took her to bed. At midnight she started vomiting and crying saying she's got a headache and her tummy was painful. In the morning I went to work as she looked okay and was sleeping. Later my mom called me and told me that she's worried my daughter have been sleeping the whole day she doesn't even want to eat. As it was on a Saturday I couldn't live early coz we were short staffed and I thought she will be fine.When I got home my mother told me she had gone to the chemist and bought her medication. But she was still sleeping. We decided to give her the medication and observe her. But the next day she looked as if she was getting fine cause she was eating.Then she started again changing and complaint of all the pains she had. We stayed and obversed the situation up until I've notice that I'm gonna loose my daughter. Then I took two days off from work to take care of my daughter and took her to the doctor as my mom was stressing. We gave a Lady called Emma a copy of the medical record.And thanks to the store ManagerSis Bertha she was kind and and she was with us from the day she knew of our matter.I as a parent of the child would like KFC to deal with all the damaged cause. 1. Medication we bought2. Petrol going up and down3. My mother not going to do her sales for the whole week4. My unpaid day off at workIf we had not gone to KFC our lives would had been normal. So I feel we won't be accountable for someone's neglects.Then either than that the KFC team will see what is it that they have to do to show their apology to my family what if we lost my daughter.We could have went to other ombudsman or even on social media or news papers and relate my story as we still had the tub that my father didn't drink after he saw my daughter been I'll. but we decided to come straight to KFC so they would know what they did and it must be a learning curve for them. Hi I lodged a complaint to Mtn stating that I have a problem with thier night express data that I bought to submit my tender documents. And which till update they haven't answered me or give any necessary feedback.and I even Lodged in thier enquiry page but I the people who are assisting me are clueless of what I'm talking about or the is no communication in thier offices. I have voice recording of the conversations we had with the consultant and I have screenshots of what I'm talking about. Cause I even asked the last consultant which happens to be the shift manager at that time to give me an email address were I can send her pictures of what I'm talking about. which she gave me the complaint department email address. I'm really hurt and heartbroken for what had happened to me as a person who survive but tenders I lost my life cause of thier Data.
