Good day people… on Wednesday the past week I bought a pack of Fish 🐠 which was R59,99 at Roots Butchery in Groblersdal Mall in Limpopo.. well there I was happy that I will enjoy my fish with family. On Thursday they did prepare the fish only to find that there is a funny smell 👃 on the taste… I thought it was me but everyone else said so. I went back to the pack to check what’s wrong only to find the back is spoiled and the fish is not in a condition to be eaten at all. I then took the fish back to the store on Friday to lay my complain regrading the kind of products I bought from them. The Manager who is white talked to me like a trash 🗑 and told me he can’t do anything the problem is my storage that’s the reason the fishes were spilt now it is my problem. I turned back home with them and threw them away … guys please roots is very bad in terms of meat 🥩 do not just buy … check well if the condition of what you are buying it is still Good… Thank you 🙏

I bought Amasi/inkomazi from Roots BaraMall on 23rd August 2020 only to realise that they have expired. The date is okay but it's a damage product. Today I went to exchange them but I'm told that if I buy a product it's my responsibility to take care of them "aah" how is that possible if they selling expired products.

I would like to thank this butchery for accommodating every during this 21 days lockdown. Thier fridges are always packed with variety of different types of meat and reasonable prices to accommodate everyone. As little as R20 you are able to buy and go home and cook a descent meal for a family of four to enjoy. Thank you so much to Roots for taking care of us especially us in Soweto. I really appreciate it because I know hunger does exist in our community.

yesterday I was at Roots Butchery Diepkloof square, I was double debited for R458.10 due to speed point communication error, they refused to reverse the other amount. I asked for the manager and he was totally rude after telling him I work at the bank and know the procedure of how things work. He just left me there unattended and I stood there like a fool for close to an hour. I need that money asap.
