Bad communication, no empathy and will harass and threaten you via WhatsApp but refuse to provide the necessary documentation. Operates like a complete **** changing contact numbers, WhatsApp contacts and banking details. They will not acknowledge any payments made through documentation and it’s as good as throwing money down the drain without any knowledge of how the debt is reducing. Threatening people will not change their current financial situation!
Retail capital operates like mashonisa - absolute horrible practice! They use abuse and bullying tactics and do not follow through the proper channels. The business that they provided a loan to went under liquidation during Covid and is no longer operating yet they refuse to follow the correct legal procedures. I’ve requested a statement showing all payments I’ve been making in my personal capacity and they have refused to provide this for well over 2 years so I’m practically throwing money without any indication of what the balance is. They will call and harass you even go as far threatening you. Seek alternative options, this company is run like a mafia
Game store is deliberately falsely advertising products in order to lure customers into purchasing. Their Hisence FHD Led Tv is listed under “40-49inch Smart TVs” even though it is not a smart tv. I want my order cancelled and a full refund as I was duped into purchasing what I believed is a smart tv.
Total sham! This company is a scam! The number provided goes straight to voicemail and the address? It’s the Sandton city address! Be absolutely wearing before utilizing their services! I subscribed to the wash and iron service and no one has actually collected my clothes. Please do your research into the company before trusting them with your possessions.
My account was canceled by Peachpayments 3 months ago yet they have not updated this information on their system. I have contacted them to do so without any resolve. I was debited R131 in August and now R1121 in September. These debit orders are not authorized and shouldn’t be happening because I am not utilizing any of their services
Peachpayments canceled my account because they said I did not meet the criteria and in order for them to release the funds, I had to provide them documentation of proof of deliveries. This has been provided and yet they are still withholding the funds.
I’ve been trying to change my banking details with Virgin Active for the past 3 months. Every single time I call in and talk to a consultant, they take the new banking information and I assume it has been change yet they don’t do it. The banking information which they have is no longer in use, I’ve explained this to them several times and they keep debiting the account. This is impacting my credit score and credit history negatively because it shows as an unpaid payment. On each month I’ve made payment and sent them proof of payment, yet for 3 months the funds have not been allocated. Yet they do acknowledge receipt and confirm payment. I’m unable to go to gym as my account is in arrears yet I’m paying monthly. I’ve tried to resolve this on several occasions yet I’m still not getting the assistance I need. So in essence, they keep taking payment and confirming receipt of payment without allocating them. They keep taking my new banking details yet they don’t actually update the details. My credit score has gone down and I’m still unable to go to any gym.
Easily the worst mistake I could’ve done as a merchant was sign up with PayGate. I signed up on a Wednesday, customer service was exceptional and the process seamless. Documents were handed in and everything was approved. By Friday on the same week I had signed my contract and PayGate ID, payments were enabled and I started receiving payments through PayGate. I took the PayGate Plus option as they had indicated it would result in my funds being released within 48 hours and processing was the fastest, although the card fees were high, I agreed as I assumed it would come with top notch service. Exactly 3 days after I’ve started trading, I noticed there was an error on my account and I wasn’t able to process payouts (I couldn’t actually withdraw or access my funds). I contacted PayGate and they informed me it was due to Onboarding reasons and I had to encode 5 required images into my store site, these images were of card logos and their own company logos, weird considering that’s essentially brand advertising for their own company but nevertheless I complied. I was also requested to tweak my terms and conditions to suit their own, they provided a template. Everything was completed yet I still couldn’t access my payout function. Communication began stifling down and I was now on the chase for their customer service team. Mind you when I signed up, the service was excellent. I notified PayGate of my concerns regarding customer service and the payout issue and deactivated the payment gateway service from my store because they were still accepting payments from customers and taking fees yet I could not actually withdraw or use the payout function. Immediately after this was done, I was told payout had been activated. Assuming they are an honest company I reactivated the payment gateway service and they continued to accept more payments and take fees from each payment. On Tuesday, 12 hours after being informed that the payout was activated, I was told that they had decided to cancel the account and would keep all payments for a 6 months period as a security clause. This is not only unethical but it is downright fraudulent. They allowed my customers to make payments knowing that they never had any intentions of releasing the funds due to me. When the payment gateway service was deactivated, they contacted me to reactivate it so that they could continue receiving payments and thus keep taking fees. If you’re a merchant, especially as a start up make sure you have an excellent lawyer if you’re going to use PayGate services. The service is absolutely horrible, all they care about is money.
Sufficient and excellent service. As a start up, having Ozow is extremely beneficial. They offer the lowest fees and have the quickest payout turnaround time. 100% recommend!
